As an employee of GRP 15. I have noticed several problems but one that really pisses me off is the lunch break policy. I really don't call it a lunch if your not even allowed to take one, (especially if your in an office that only has one or two employees) , and the fact that they make you clock your out for an hour even if you were fuckin working the entire time. ERAC excuse is that they can't afford it, bullshit if they can afford to wrap the traffic vans in the ERAC "Wrapped car logo" for $5000 a region they can pay us for the lunches that they continue to screw us out of. If anybody agrees with me post here.

if you dont get a lunch break, it has nothing to do with enterprise upper management. it has to do with your current manager. they are responsible for scheduling and maintaining a lunch schedule. and why is it that the MT's/MA's will complain on this website but wont call HR or do something about it. If i were an MT, i would make sure i get a lunch break every day. so quit whining.

You're damned if you do and damned if you don't. If you do, then the rest of the employees in the office get upset because they have to pick up the slack while you are out. If you don't, you sacrifice your sanity by working 12 hours straight, but you are a "team player." Offices I have been into try to schedule lunches in advance but dealerships and bodyshop customers are way more important that your lunch. Going to McDonalds on the way to a customer's house is perfectly acceptable as a lunch to some managers. The only time I got lunches is when I went marketing. Now that was a great break from the office. What a joke.

after a while you learn to get creative about it. if they are gonna fuck you then swindle them back marketing is an excellent time for this same with pickups...

I have to say there were about 3-4 instances where I was not given a lunch break but had to clock out. My management made sure we took them, even if sometimes they did not begin until 3PM...

In response to the people who say they never get lunches: The only instances in which I've not taken an actual hour off have been when my branch is short, and my manager ALWAYS pays for our lunch when we do so. It does suck having your meal interrupted by phones/customers though. Even though it is not a "legal substitute" for a lunch, I'm cool with it and think it's fair if he at least buys my lunch. Maybe you should suggest your manager pay for your lunch, or just get the hell out of this compnay like I will by the end of this month!
