| I'm happy to announce that I am finally done with the nightmare you all call work. I'm gonna be soon starting a new job $50K plus bonuses with only 40 hours a week. I will pray for all of your future releases from the hell hole! |
| |||
| Good we're glad you have moved on. I'm sure you'll be unhappy at other jobs to. |
| |||
| It wasn't happiness that was a problem at ERAC. I loved the people I worked with. It's just the amount and type of work ERAC expects for the pay that I had a problem with. Now I'll be getting compensatated well. Stop hating on me with your broke ass! |
| |||
| Glad you found work you will enjoy then. I actually do enjoy the work, but I am making more money now. So I am seeing the rewards. |
| |||
| However, you are not seeing the terrible grammar you are using. ERAC drains the intelligence right out of people! |

think how much money they could save investing in their employees...instead of having to heavily recruit and train people every year. you shouldn't be glad he/she left, you should be asking yourself why, why do thousands of people leave "the dream?" why do we invest so much money into training and recruiting only to have our employees quit? that's what company that cares about it's employees is concerned with. instead the mid-level dipshit ruling class like Spooner strike an arrogant pose and everyone lol's at him and quits in droves for jobs that pay more than he'll ever make at ERAC. |

| Yambag, I couldn't agree more with your statement. You are absolutely 100% CORRECT. Instead of being so damn cheap and paying ERAC employees shit money to do shit work, ERAC should compensate better and try to create a better working environment. I mean, I know it's retail customer service, which always can be difficult. But if ERAC showed it's employees that they value them more by offering competitive wages, it wouldn't be so bad. I don't know how many ERAC employees I've heard make the statement "It would be so bad if we made good money". I'm sure that ERAC loses way more money trying to save money, since they have to constantly train new people. ALSO, let's think about how compromising ERAC's treatment of employees is to customer satisfaction! Understaffed branches from people quitting, employees who are miserable and don't give a shit, etc. I even heard that ERAC's employee treatment is catching up to it. I heard through the grape vine that ERAC recruiters have a much harder time at colleeg career fairs now since employees and former employees are spreading the news! |

| I concur! I'm just here until I can move on. Gotta pay the rent somehow, and the corner is illegal in this state, LOL! Seriously, I'm looking to make some beneficial moves in the very near future. Enterprise is like the guy who says he loves you, and then drops you on your ass for the next hot chick. I'm terribly jaded. Forgive me. |

| What region do you work in? I think a lot of people who work at ERAC are not looking to make a career out of it but rather make a bit of money before finding something better. It is a pretty easy job to get right out of school, which is good for those who couldn't find something else. It's the people who really fall into the belief that they are the next General Manager that end up getting hurt or extremely "jaded" as you said. I never truly bought into the system once I had the job. I will admit when I first heard about the ERAC MT program, I was really excited. I ended up finding this site soon after but still gave the job a chance trying to be open to both sides of the story. I am naturally skeptical given my educational background, so training was very interesting to me. It sometimes reminded of a Quixtar/Amway presentation when the GM spoke. I unfortunately got lured into that pyramid scheme for about 48 hours back in college before I wised up. Ever since then, I am extremely careful when persuasion is present. My several months at ERAC were like a psychological field experiment where I got to see cult behavior, mentally disturbed customers, and the weapons of influence used on employees by upper management. It was intriguing to observe how this company was able recruit so many unsuspecting college grads and make them truly believe they would be future millionaires. I sometimes wish I would have called them out on all the classic persuasion techniques they used and backed it up with empirical research. However, I am sure I would have confused much of the upper management and not have lasted as long as I did. Plus, I wouldn't have had the time to go back through my old textbooks since I was working from 7:00AM -7:30PM most nights. Read the book INFLUENCE by Robert Cialdini, and you will understand what I am talking about. |
