Area manager opening...

Word around the office is that there was recently an opening in Area 6. Any potential candidates to fill Markus Danheim's shoes?

Did he quit or get canned? I never really knew what to make of Markus. One second he was cool and the next he wasa complete jerk

Rumor has that he was weeded out because the area wasn't making much money. Someone also said his dad became ill, and Markus said he wanted to concentrate on the "big picture." I also heard he left without having anything else lined up...Who knows?

Regardless or reason, in true ERAC fashion we all know he has millions stashed away, LMAO!!!!!!!!

I never heard that he made huge amounts of money. In fact, I heard that he was given a buy out I guess. I don't know how true this is, but we have a new area manager now who seems very good.

I heard RVP Milwit (jewish for those who dont know that) found out that Marcus (born in germany/nazi...same thing) had been treating his empolyees like they worked in a concentration camp (not as bad as working at enterprise, but pretty close). Or it could be that Marcus just sucked at his job! There were a lot of shitty area managers when I worked there, and none of them got fired, so I am going to go with option a.

This post is useless. He didn't get fired because he was German. I did hear people were quitting because of him though...

Was it that he realized he was not going to make his millions in the company, his work-life balance was all work and no life, or that he couldn't take it anymore when he had to tell people he worked for a rental car company and they laughed at him? It could of been one of those reasons
