...maybe I'm just angry because I wasted so much time with this company and most of the fake people here. My early 20's,the crazy years, should've been better than 13+ hr shift work, unappreciated work, low pay, stress and poor health. I work too hard and gave too much, I deserve to gripe at least...missed a lot of time w/ friends & family only to figure out 2+ yrs too late. you can contact me "friend". anonymity reflects contempt.

I'm not bitter, but working for ERAC was probably the hardest job I ever had. It was more than just coming in and leaving late. There were so many politics and rumors! And I just want to say that I don't agree with a company whose main purpose is to put cars on the road encouraging so much drinking in its employees. This is my take on the whole ERAC plan: Recruit young people. Tell them they are going to make a pretty good sum of money per year. Drill into their heads that this is a "professional" job. Make them wear suits to clean cars (if the lot attendants decide not to show up). By making them wear suits and using the word "professional" over and over, we make the job seem a lot less menial. When I was in training, I felt like they were speaking to a bunch of middle schoolers the way they were telling us how to act. Like, how to say "Please and thank you" to customers. HELLO?!?!? This is common sense and if they call themselves hiring competent people, then why even say this? I did learn a lot and I am happy to say that I single-handedly helped contribute to my branch's ESQI (can't share how, b/c would totally give away my identity). I learned so much about relationship-building and earning trust with various vendors we dealt with. However, I didn't like the politics, drinking, rumors, and general shadiness of some of WW's employees. They were some great managers out there that really were a shining example of professionalism in its true sense, but there were many that didn't look (I mention "look" b/c appearance was important) or act the part.

16XX - Is the good ole' boy network. 16WW - You pretty much have to suk ass to get anywhere. 16YY - That region is a joke top to bottom including what has to be the worst admin staff in the company. Can't comment on UU or VV. Oh and if you went to Univ. of MD you are on the fast track.

GROUP 16 SUCKS JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHER GROUPS. THEY MAY SHIELD THE POLITICS BETTER THAN OTHER GROUPS BUT IN THE END, UPPER MANAGEMENT STILL TELLS MID-MANAGEMENT TO "SELL THE BIG PICTURE". i WAS INVOLVED IN MANY DECISIONS FROM PAY INCREASES, RETENTION, FLEET GROWTH ETC. AND EVERY MEETING ENDED UP WITH A COMPROMISE. (THE EMPLOYEES ALWAYS HAD TO COMPROMISE) NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. THAT IS WHY LEVEL 3 AND ABOVE HAVE TO CONTINUOUSLY SELL THEIR DECISIONS TO THE STAFF MEMBERS BELOW. ORLANDO BLOW-HARDS PROVE MY POINT WHEN THEY STROKE EACH OTHERS EGOS TO GET RECOGNIZED. LUCKY7

group 16 has sucked for over a decade they hire anyone with a pulse so most employees are incompetent incompetent employees means terrible customer service - look at esqi the unbelievable greed of the upper managers (most should be cleaned out) and you see shady dealings at all levels inside and outside the office it was a great company as a whole and especially DC goup many years ago but now the whole thing is a pile of garbage that no one respects. Sad what greed does

Working in 16VV was, quite possibly, the worst experience of my adult life. we sold shady waive, we practiced the blind upsell like no other, we always booked the deal, reservations meant absolutly nothing and we were constantly being sold "the big picture" (AKA A very large steaming pile of lies). We worked an average of 50 hours a week and rarely saw a lunch break. Please stop believing the hype. Few are promoted and if you want to sell your soul to the devil to get there go right ahead.
