16WW was not better. If I heard "intagibles" one more time, team player, book don't look, get rate, sell dub.....jesus it sucked.

That is all I have heard as well!

Let me guess who "OFFSHORE ROB" is......Rob Taylor? Typical car sale candidate from 5 years ago or so in that he was mediocre in rental and a guy that was not very good at car sales either. His argument is often "the numbers don't count" although he never produced them. I am curious as to what he is doing as a career today. Probably a claims adjuster for Progressive??

Well now that you know who I am, I think it would only be fair if you let me know who you are. I am not a claims adjuster, another AE went that route. I work for a financial services company. I don't know what you mean by the "numbers don't count".??? Mediocre at rental...I was only in rental for three months my friend.

I was there for 4.5 years and spent quite a bit of time in the rental branches. I don't think it's that difficult to see what happens there. If you feel that I am incorrect in any of my statements I would be interested to hear your defense. The activities in the group are not just limited to rental. So, what do you have?

I find it very funny that someone who finished their mba in 4 months and that is now in the financial field actually spends time each and every day looking at this site and and not just moving on the what is now apparently a better career for yourself. Your view on a number of things is altered a bit, though. I left erac a year ago. I liked what I did, made pretty good money, but can understand where people get burned out. But, I am now in the "pharm" business and there are ***SO*** many similarities it is not even funny. My day is longer often times than what I worked when I managed a branch and there is a lot of political bs where I am now. I would have to question your view on a couple things. I worked under Marlon for a while. His #'s were pretty good, but he was a mess. His people hated him, his accounts never knew who the hell he was, and he would try and tag anythig that walked. You must have worked under Clay and just not liked him because most people loved the guy. My MT's would do anything for him (a handfull thought he was a hardass) and if you ever worked under another area manager after him you wish you had him back. Get back to investing your clients money into enron, worldcom and the airline industry in general.
