I have had black customers, white, arab, asian, female, gay or whatever and at one point everyone one of them has been an asshole in some way or another. The race has nothing to do with it. Look at it this way. If you say "I had a customer come in today and shit on the counter and rubbed my face in it" would the first thing asked be "what race were they?"? Probably not so it obviously doesn't matter. If a customer is a piece of shit then they are a piece of shit regardless of their race.

It makes no difference until it becomes the focal point of the discussion. Example:

I was working today and this black guy came in and decided to shit in the counter and rub my face in it. The shit was smelly and had corn in it. (Notice the subject is the shit).

The whole point was lost in the fact that someone decided to make it about a black person instead of a customer rubbing your face in shit. Once someone decides to add race to the mix and the description becomes the subject and not the original point then it becomes a problem. I could care less if someone decided to describe a situation where race is a key factor (describing a crime, giving a statement and so forth) otherwise it is put there as either a distraction, a catalyst or just another way to increase stereotypes. (Some stereotypes are justified though).

It probably is censorship on my part. The First Amendment only says that government can't shut you up. It doesn't protect you from someone like me setting rules for guests on my own discussion board. If you want to describe African-Americans as "darkies", we don't want you here and I'm looking for the "delete" button.

If you have any other racist friends, please tell them that we proudly practice censorship here, and don't want their garbage. Be sure to scream "Censorship!!!" at the top of your lungs to be sure they really get the message.

Did you ever think that ERAC would like the site since they are somewhat racist?

It only matters when it is the centralized focus of the discussion but does not need to be so the answer to your question is yes and no. But let's not go about this all day as there are more pressing issues at ERAC such as who is your ARM banging and why does he/she not deserve to be that ARM because they used to steal lunch money from the cash drawer.
