What does a manager of hr do and what do they get paid? Is it a good career path?

I will tell you what she does: She forwards on information that was supposed to be confidential behind your back. Loves to gossip. Tries to put many words in your mouth. Stays in hotels with other department heads. I will post more job duties when i think of them, many more to come....

And if your JW in HR @ EE, you kiss GG's ass, eat bon bons all day and do tons of exit interviews. Oh yeah and don't forget bug people to donate to United Way-and if you don't she tattle tales to GG and then he starts hounding you. (remember the HR job was created for her since she could not make it in rental land)

If you are interested in HR you should just call your HR person and find out what they do, rather than listening to uneducated employees on this site. I know that they deal with a lot of employee's personal and professional problems...nightmare.

it means you will be on your knees or on all fours a lot - the pay is crap because you are an expense you bring no money in - however I have never known anyone in ERAC HR land to even put in 35 hour weeks....

to be a HR manager you must make BM first.... if you are not yet a manager in rental you can still work for HR - you'll just NEVER make MRM and never have a company car.... if you do this ONLY do it becuase you want time to interview for a real job with a real company
