Default competition!!!!!!!!!!!!

So say there was an office that has lost 100 cars in the last two fiscal years. The have a smattering of body shops which really arent that busy but have had two very very large dealerships one with a very large body shop. Now say Dealer A leaves due to not fealling like a number 1 priority for the region. This was actually said during a sales call. So after losing Dealership A upper management instructs to bend down and do whatever necessary to keep dealer 2. One day a Hertz proposal comes along. We find out information before a proposal has been givem to the GM and owners. We find out what the offer is and counter with one that falls way short of what Dealer B is asking for. Dealer B signs with Hertz and the enterprise branch now has a fleet of 95 and a break even of 1450. How does a branch stay in business?

ANY TAKERS ON THIS ONE?

Why even try to keep the branch in business? In the long run all the hard work you put into that branch, you'll be gone sooner or later, whether they get rid of you or you leave. Move on and don't waste your time, breath or another minute of your life.

We are taking your accounts and all your previous customers can't believe how easy it is to rent a car now. Better not blink or you will be out of a job.

I love the fact that we don't worry about every little penny that is out there to be made. We are focusing on getting accounts that make sense for all parties involved. I also love the fact that we rent the car and someone else handles callbacks..I sell the loss damage waiver. I do not scare or scam people into buying coverage. I could go on and on but that would leave you guys with wet spots in your drawers

WELL SAID! I would also like to add that not fucking it up in the first place (a concept which is completely foreign to most BM's and above) is the best way to retain customers, accounts, AND employees. If ERAC management wasn't so fucking greedy and arrogant, the MT's wouldn't spend so much time grabbing their ankles to satisfy customers and accounts who have been neglected. Dropping off donuts and paying employee referral bonuses is not the way to hang on to your most valuable assets. What happened to "take care of your customers and employees, and profits will follow"?
