New Fires/Quits

I don't know one person that left ERAC that isn't making at least 50% more right off the bat. ERAC couldn't get me to 6 figures in 3 years but it seems corporate america could. if you have an IQ greater than 80, if you can sell at least at an average pace, get out now make more and be happier --- unless you like working more than 40 hours a week for welfare wages.

Yea, I've been gone for about 6 months also. Life is sooooooooooo grand and normal. I almost got caught in the ERAC zone for a minute. I asked my supervisor if i could go to lunch :( She was like...."oh puleeze...you are an adult. You can go whenever you want" . I get off at 5pm but my work was done at 4:30, so I got my stuff and went home!!!! I get to come in somewhere between 8:30 and 9. And when i do, I get to turn on MY RADIO, at MY DESK. Oh...is that MY PERSONAL phone line ringing for me. Oh..and its not an irate customer or a dealership callin' me 5min. before going home. I doubled my salary and got my sanity back upon leaving. It is possible, but you have to be ready and willing. Today at Happy hour, I could actually enjoy myself knowing that i finally have a REAL JOB. And that others respect what I do, and I respect what I do. I get casual fridays too! Not when I donate $1/pay for a year to United Way, lol, but EVERY FRIDAY! I also get 2 Bonus checks per year. NOT those whack Christmas toys, ERAC hands out. I hope that someone seeking a way out finds it soon!! its sooooo worth it :)

I agree. Just quit this place. Unless you really want to get into real sales and just need some experience, this job is worthless. Aside from sales, very little skills are worthwhile to other professions and many companies view erac as a glorified retail job. People here just spew the company cult lines until they quit or get fired. Save yourself and put this part of your life behind you and find something better! YOU WILL! Enjoy a few weeks off in the summer sun and rediscover having a life and free time. It will be the best decision you ever make.

Don't believe me? Then ask someone at the next erac retirement party you attend to prove me wrong. Oh, wait...
