haha. True true. I remember shredding contracts on a regular basis. At 1823 they write the shadiest fucking dx/es. These mutha fuckas will write off every last dent to a foreign full boat. At the end of ev ery summer they round up the shittiest cars they have in fleat. Admin thinks these babies are nice fresh 08 malibus. Little do they know about the real cars condition. After they round up the "ones" they get a sweet special for 9.99/day + 32.98 a day for ins. They rush the unbeknowing customer straight to the door and say have a great day! (man that language barrier excuse must work wonders when their screaming "this car is all FUCKED up"_) When they get back they DX the fuck out of a real OX and that in tyhe end is better for their bottom line. That is the friggin opitome of shady. Pass knew shit like this went down and he turned a blind eye. Have a blessed day

These last 2 messages are clearly coming from 'warped' minds..... no offense. Ethics, my friend, is "the system of moral principles governing the appropriate conduct for a person or group". Now, VALUES, on the other hand are what is subjective to each individual. If you didn't follow that, take a minute if necessary, that means that while ethics in laymans terms are the general rule values make up a person. While ethics is a constant values to each individual can change. Unfortunately some folks out there do not have high values and choose to do bad, unethical things. The first comment after Joe's; well you're clearly are very low on the scale with a person with high values. No doubt you did shred contracts but rest assured you too would have been caught. No doubt your values have followed you to wherever you are now so good luck with that. You will get caught there down the road if your unethical behavior continues. It may take a month, year, several years........ you'll get caught. No question. Til then, the fact you can live with yourself acting like this and promoting it on this website speaks volumes about your character. In terms of Enterprise promoting all the garbage of which you all also speak, i'm afraid i've never been in that class. Clearly there are times when crap happens and you have to deal with it. Not always pleasant. If ERAC employees did their job, this 'slimeballness, etc' of which you all speak wouldn't be a factor. Explain CDW, explain, upgrades; customer accepts or declines. Period. They're being given a choice. They take it or they don't. If you are a GOOD salesperson they will take it. You should not have to make slimeball deals; that just indicates you are/were not a good salesperson and you had to do the shady deals. See how it all comes together???

What I was saying genius is that Enterprise has never once said to me do this or that the wrong way. What i've seen is an ethics hotline if you see something happening that shouldn't and an HR mgr who won't let you get away with shit, trust me. I agree wholeheartedly that the whole 2pm car count, etc is bullshit. But guess what, ERAC mgmt has never told us to 'hold tickets.' As a matter of fact they made everyone sign something saying that we would not; in an attempt to be 'ethical' maybe?? hmmmm, my final point is this. I know there are a LOT of slimeballs that work at Enterprise. But there are slimeballs that work at a lot of places! Enterprise is no exception; they just have a website where everyone can gossip about it and spread it further than in most cases. Enterprise is not responsible for teaching ethics nor vales. You should already have learned this from your parents or whoever raised you. It is not the responsibility of the schools, the gov't or your employer to teach you how to behave. If by the time you are a college graduate & you don't know how to conduct yourself and how to do the right thing then shame on you. Blame nobody but yourself. If you get sucked into doing the wrong things, shame on ya.

AMEN TO THAT! It's about time people start taking responsibility for their own actions. If you are asked to do something that goes against your 'moral code', tell someone. Nobody is making you do it. They can't!!! They would be the ones to get in trouble.

And when did they make everyone sign something saying we should not?? |

Yes ERAC management has said leave close tickets "open" until after 2PM, if you say something it comes to the ARM and BM and these are the people that you need to get promoted so I don't know what your smoking but ERAC has a double standard. When Pass was in the office he looked at the the tickets to be held open and said nothing, just turned a blind eye. Meanwhile the BM tells us to leave tickets open cause that effects the paycheck and bonus received.
