Glad I found this site, none of my friends understand my frustration, and I can't complain to my coworkers.... I think the water is spiked with speed or zanex.

No, it's just that a lot of people spend a lot of time justifying to themselves and to others why they work for ERAC. I did it for a year and then I just gave up. I still did my job, but I did it the way I wanted to (i.e.: being truthful aboud CDW, always giving upgrades if I didn't have the car, and being truly considerate of customers and their situations; because of this I have several customers who allowed me to use them as references). It took me 3 months but I got a job as a district manager of a large retail company. My company hold's ethics to a high standard and as part of their striving for true employee honesty they pay you outright through salary instead of making people cheat the company to try and earn a measly commissison. Just remember, the only way to succeed @ ERAC is to be lucky. You have to be put in the right market, one that is ready to explode in growth (this would be a place where there is little competition, the customers have extra money to spend, and accounts have never heard of any rental company let alone ERAC). The metro Detroit area has none of this. So my advice is to obviously leave, if you have a place to live for free just quit and devote every waking minute to finding a real job.
