I used to work for Jim Mercer...great guy...very demanding....anyone know if he is still the GM in VA?

He was as of Dec. 04 when I left.

Jim Mercer is still around..good guy...I have heard that corporate wanted him to take a position somewhere with them, but he refused because of the supposed pay cut...lol...Enterprise...The Big E is more like the Big A (Amway) than most people realize

I used to work in GP21. Jim Mercer is without a doubt a great GM. He drove half way across the state to take our office to dinner one night because we had a good month. I would not recommend this job to anyone, but if you are considering it, GP21 would not be a bad choice.

Absolutely have to agree, I thing Mercer is a GREAT Manager.... I just hope he gets a better hand on those that suck, because I know some do.....

Mercer retired at the end of December. Thank God. He was what you would call an absent manager. A nice enough man, but just not there as far as being a in charge of the group. I'm sure he was just as burnt out as everyone else, though the $4 million a year had to help the pain somewhat.
