Default Get out when you can

City 93 was a really bad group to work with one AM R.B. was really bad he is a young jerk. The best thik I every did was quite. My life is much better I left with out having another job but I knew I was at a dead end I got tired of making promises to customers that I knew could not be done. we had 1 MV at our office but he wanted us to take 10 reservations for it knowing we could not get anymore. He was not the one getting his ass chewed by upset customers I would never rent a car from enterprise. I now have more time work less hours and make mor money and I hae only been gone for 2 months after working 3 years with enterprise. Wish I had left at leat 22 years ago. Get out as soon as you can. Let Rob work all those hours and weekends for you.

I worked for Rob and liked him a lot...He did work the hell out of ya though. He also worked a lot himself! I will agree about the take 10 deals for the 1 van you got...His response to me when I mentioned my concerns for overbooking was that you don't even get a chance to give good service if you don't get the customer in the store, so take all deals...At the end of the day it was stressful but it always seemed to work out...even if I was driving a packer home that was lent to me from B'Burg office at 7:30pm.

1. I have to ask: Did you get minivans for all of the people who called to make those reservations? Probably not...which means that someone didn't get the vehicle that he/she needed (and was told was going to be there) when they arrived. But, it still may have worked out; with giving those people "upgrades" to SUVs (if there were any of those left) or throwing some folding chairs in the back of a cargo van. But, that is NOT giving good customer service; that is "making it work". There is a HUGE difference. Good customer service would entail taking a tentative reservation and calling them back AFTER you locate the vehicle so that you don't, you know, WASTE THEIR TIME with coming in to pick up a vehicle that you never had in the first place. Enterprise got their fleet utilization numbers up and that is where their real concern lies; not: "not being able to provide good customer service if you don't get the customer into the branch."

2. Do you not see anything wrong with the fact that you get off from work at 7:30 p.m. when most branches close at 6:00 p.m.? Don't you get tired of not being able to make plans for anything relatively close to closing time (or worse, making the plans and then having to call and tell whomever you are meeting that you aren't going to be able to make it, AGAIN, because something came up at work, AGAIN...? I don't care how fabulous any AM is, I never saw one working at a branch until 7:30 p.m. Or 7:00 p.m. or even 6:30 p.m. for that matter. Yeah, yeah; They worked their way through the ranks; they've been there, done that...blah blah blah. What I am saying is: Since they have been there and they know how much it sucks, why aren't they doing something to help alleviate/prevent that happening to everyone else? Just a thought...

You wanna talk about bad area managers? Let's talk about Mark Creasy shall we? You complain about area managers not being there until 6pm- how about Mark not being there until 2:30pm- or in fact, not being there at all because you discover that he goes to Home Depot during the day when he's supposed to be at work. Or when he says "Yeah call my cell if you need cars" and then you can't locate him for 4 hours and when you finally do- he's at 2142 "painting" getting the branch read for Brian Duffy- when the branch recently had thousands of dollars worth of renovations. OR when you schedule a meeting for a specific time and when you go to the meeting- you have to sit there and wait and additional 15 mins because Mark is ordering crap with the new "E" logo on it from headquarters and you have somewhere you need to be. Or one of my favorites is- after they need someone to jump from branch to branch to branch and you offer to be the one to do it- because they tell you by doing this it's a "Great resume builder" and you're a "shoe in for management"- by that time you've had enough because you applied for a manager position they turn you down and say you're not "Qualified", so they ask you to move again and you put your foot down and say no- you get his response of "well maybe this just isn't the right job for you." Because he doesn't have a whole other pool of employees to pull from or a new group of naive college grads who think they're getting into this "wonderful" management program to move them to another branch. Or that Mark tries to act all cool around you and tell you how he lovess "BOB MARLEY" and used to smoke pot to it all the time. YEAH REAL PROFESSIONAL CHIPMUNK CHEEKS/JOHN ARBUCKLE FROM GARFIELD. It's like go give Garfield some lasagna and leave me alone. Or how about the time one of my coworkers had a customer threaten him along with other ERAC employees and had a clipboard thrown at him and Mark told the employee it was HIS fault because the manager and told the guy to come in, even though there were no cars- then the manager left. Or how about when Mark Creasey decided to leak my personal information to two other branch managers- that were not my current manager at the time so I had to report him to human resources on my last day, which I doubt they did anything about. And PS- if any current ERAC employee related to Mark Creasey responds to this and refers to Mark in a positive manner, I will laugh in your face. So if anyone out there can relate, let me know!
