well, look i'll break it down for you. I used to work in group 24, and no i never seen the guy, and he really was not tht approachable, like you all are saying. He is fucking weird to, he has this room in his house that has just a chair with some painting around the walls, and just this stupid chair in the middle. He is fucking huge, so I don't care how single he is, I don't see him getting any ass. This company sucks, and just know you ass kissing troops, mike nigro and the rest of his clan do not give a shit about you. Just do the smart thing and get a promotion or two, and get the hell out. ERAC is a great resume builder THATS IT!!!! do not loose your families and friends over some shitty rental company, that when you quit, they just replace your #.

iDIOT, THEIR TALKING ABOUT MIKE NIGRO, HE DIDNT GET PUSHED OUT OF 24CC YOU FREAKING IDIOT. HE WAS THE BOSS

I know this is an old thread but i had to comment. It's funny that everybody forgot to mention that Nigro became the RVP in 24FF originally because he price gouged and put all of the little guys in California where he used to work out of business. I beleive it was in the San Diego Area. He basically made it impossible for them to beat his prices and then when he put them out of business he was the only game in town. That's some business ethics for ya. So much for a level playing field. And he was wierd. A nice guy to talk to. But wierd.

Mike is one of the most profitable people for Enterprise. His last commision check was for about $1 million dollars. I remember he would always throw down his credit card after a company event. This dude also use to have different girls at the company parties. He probably paid for them. Rumor also has it a prep went to clean his car and when the radio went on, he had a Biggie CD in the radio.

I will tell you this, and I am going to be honest with everyone. I am a former level 3. I worked for Nigro for many years. I can honestly say this about the guy. He is very very smart and caring individual. He may seem that he is not approachable but al you have to do is approach him and he will welcome you with open ARMS. He has always had an open door policy. Mike is not your loud mouth arrogant upper manager. He is always concerned for employee's morale and training. He will always be in your branch's, area, regions observing how employee's behaviors are, most of the time to understand how your manager is actually managing. He like's to know that everyone is on the same page and systems are being managed and followed up. He is a big fan of the vote, very in to making a difference in the diversity area. He has approached the NY Urban League to be on the board of directors in order to add leadership to the group, he was on the local nyc diversity team and was very much involved. On a personal level he is very down to earth, and yes he does drink but descreit. He hosts great parties at his house for his team and he does not mind his manager's spending on their employees as long as it is rewarding them for great performance and building morale. Yes, he does love a variety of different music, including Biggie Smalls and the Neptunes. The one thing I can say is that he is the one person that I miss from Enterprise, he has helped me with my development. He should of been in close to Matt Darrah's position if they did not put him the shit hole of New York City. You should of seen what NYC was like when he took over. Lets put it like this, RAT infested branches and graffitti, Nigro is like the Mayor Giulianni/Bloomberg of Erac in NYC, the savior. Took it from 1500 cars to 6000 in lest than 6 0r 7 years. He is a true leader...I wish I could of said the same of my last GM. He is put of California and has very close DNA to Pam Nicholson and Greg Stubblefield, obviously very successful people. There is nothing bad to say about mike, Nothing!

I agree. I worked with Mike for 6 years when I was in FF and I did not always agree with what he said or did, but I always respected him. I only saw him get mad once and say whatever you want to say about him but he is an approachable person and never used that holier than thou attitude that Keith Laurie and the rest of the FF managers at the time used to have. I tell you this about Mike....he commanded respect everywhere he went. And that is not easy especially when you are dealing with the Level 3 managers who always felt that their potty did not stink. You had to see it...they would walk the walk and talk the talk to their employees but as soon as they got in front of Nigro...down to earth they came crashing. God that was a classic scene. __________________ ''Perfection is immortal. Imperfection is mortal. We immortals don't want company.''
