ERAC SUMMARY I am trying to write a letter of reccomandation for an employee who worked for me, when I used to be a BM at ERAC in EE. I was wondering if anyone could comment on wheter or or not I summarized ERAC in a nutshell pretty well? All jokes and fun are welcome...but please include your serious comments, as her future could be helped by my letter: ***** was hired as a Management Trainee for our daily rental division. Enterprise recruiters naturally sell a glamorous picture of being hired to run a business. They sell a job of Customer Service, Marketing/Sales, and Profit generation. Customer service at Enterprise includes dealing with upwards of 700-1,000 customers per month, 70% whom are referred to Enterprise from car dealerships, body shops, and insurance companies. Another words, customers in the unfortunate situation of having problems with their cars, customers who would rather not be doing business with Enterprise. Sales and profit generation included the up selling of every single customer into a larger vehicle than what was reserved, and aggressive selling of protection products (rental insurance). Enterprise employees are given the responsibility of running every aspect of the operation from customer service, sales, collections, accounting, and accident reporting, right down to washing cars year round, regardless of weather conditions. ***** quickly realized, as many have, that this was not for her. This was despite the fact that upper management and myself thought that ***** with her overwhelmingly positive attitude, desire to learn, and the quick pace, in which she learned our business, would be a terrific asset |
