So Ryan Nodes has joined the ranks of the "Betrayed Only to Find Better Work." I would have used the term "bit the dust" but I think in this case he was force-fed the dust and showed the door. Remember kiddies, it's the boy's club...if you're not in the club, you must play by the rules. We all know all the shadiness by which ERAC functions on higher levels, but Ryan didn't have a fighting chance. If they want you out, there's no saving you. Ryan, if you read this, as I'm sure you will, what's the ERAC catch-phrase? "A blessing in disguise?"

The question shouldn't by why was Nodes fired. It should be now that him AND Sara Shipman are gone, who is finally going to tell Kate Donovan that they are sleeping together? Apparently Sara left because "she didn't think she would ever get promoted because everyone knows she's sleeping with Ryan." To cover her tracks, she even told Kate on her last day...

Ryan got fired because Henry didn't like and was looking for a reason to fire him. I heard Ryan saw Henry and Sheila at Friday's on a Saturday and slowly got pushed out. They probably thought about a way to fire him and push him out and pulled the 2 oclock count shit to get rid of him. I also heard they went through his email and found things about Henry and Sheila. We need to all just leave this place, I'm working on it myself.

P.S. Sounds like Matt Brady is a little bitter. I don't really believe all that Sara Shipman, selling drugs, cheating, etc...Ryan wasn't always the nicest of guys or easy to get along with but he's not a bad guy and he knew his shit and like earlier stated was betrayed by erac or hh81.

Hmm, once Henry decides he doesn't like you he'll look for a reason to get rid of you. Ryan's not the first person that it's happened to, not surprising you came to this theory.

Doesn't surprise me about the office politics in this company. It seems Group 24 has their Eliot Spitzer so to speak.

Doesn't surprise me Henry being single with nothing to do would find some quality time to get rid of someone. I wouldn't say Sheila had something to do with it, she is (as one poster put it) dumber than a stump so I can't see her being the conniving type.

Going through his email? Doesn't surprise me. One AM went through an MT's email when he happened to leave it open and went to the ARM (over the BM's head) so he would get fired.

We need to all just leave this place, I'm working on it myself.

Matt Brady is an idiot. He thinks he's better than everyone else, one time during a happy hour he told someone he concluded about being better than most people in the country. Though I can see him saying stuff about Sara (because she couldn't stand him) I can't see him saying stuff like so-and-so dealt drugs.

I'd like to think I know a thing or 2...

First, no one can prove or disprove the Sarah Shipman thing, so just move past it. Let Ryan and Kate have a personal life...

Second, not everyone does the 2 o'clock count manipulation. If you did the math, holding a few contracts everyday will increase your paycheck so minimally that you would be better off strong-arming a few customers into taking DW. Or roll 2 debit card deals everyday and you'll help your paycheck more. Do yourself a favor and look at your pay plan. It's nearly impossible to hit your goals, right? Exactlyyyyyyyyyyyy...think about it.....

Thirdly, here's the truth as I have come to know it...Ryan was very vocal in putting HH on blast about the Sheila thing. Apparently, I have heard from a few sources, that HH couldn't contain his beer dick in public at a company function and Sheila was hanging around his neck like his new RVP bling. So why is this Ryan's fault? Hey HH, don't hate Ryan for blowing your spot....you already blew it yourself. If you can't keep it in your pants, keep it on the DL. Now, Ryan had a "super" MT at Fords who Don H. apparently had a major business-boner for. She is the prototypical dream MT. She does her work, sells......even markets. From what I hear, that's not all she does. As I have heard it, she is a coverage hog. She knows when coverage is coming in; she knows when a bullet walks through the door. She is also the one who many in area B believe brought Ryan down. Now I am only going on inside info from my source, BUT this is someone I trust and believe. This MT ratted Ryan out, giving upper management the break they needed. I mean, didn't anyone find it funny that Don H. hired Ryan in the first place? I thought everyone knew that he hated Ryan, and we all know that politics run rampant in the promotion scheme of Enterprise. It's not how you do, it's who you know.

So, you take a bought-in MT, an RVP with a vengeance, and a struggling BM just trying to make ends meet and what do you get? Bom-bom-bom, another one bites the dust.......

Take it from me, getting fired from Enterprise is not the end of the world. Your situation sounds all too familiar. Its been over year since I was fired and I guess the same garbage is still taking place there. You got fired and a new girl linked to Henry is involved....shocker. Hey, if you were holding tickets or putting bullets in your employees numbers, thats your own fault. Not to say that I never held a ticket... Anyway, you will find out, as I did, that getting fired is a blessing in disguise. My last year at Enterprise I made $72,467. I know there are 0 managers making that now. Managers now are making a lousy $50k. How upset can anyone be with making that and woking so many hours.?! I cant stress enough, how much it is a blessing in disguise. I was making $590/week on unemplyment tax free!! You will make more collecting than you would working 60 hours a week. So, hang in there its not the end of the world. At least your not in debt up to your eyeballs like your former ARM and Henry is a tool who has zero friends outside of enterprise. Enjoy your time off and you will find a better job, believe me. -rl
