Except that the "progressive discipline" is only applied to people you don't like.

No actually this was the only thing that I was ever written up for or spoken to about and I have the list sent by ERAC to the CT Dept of Labor regarding all of the times I was late and it was very few far between and never more than 15 minutes, It also was and is never the spineless BM who talks to you or does anything it is your AM who doesn't listen to you but just takes what the BM says as the final word. So don't tell me that these things are progressive it is simply a way to weed out those who don't choose to be brainwashed into thinking they will be millionares by the time they are 30.

Oh yeah and the "TRAINING" is a joke I have heard Area Managers who have said they get little to no training they are just given a phone and a car and told good luck. SO please don't BS me about training and how much they get every training session I went to usually ended up with us all drunk playing pool and putting it on the AM amex.

you live in a dream world. your response is a canned one at best.
Step out of your world - management does not follow the handbook.
HR is in place to cover up

Hell, you wouldn't think washing and vacuuming friggin' cars in the boiling summer heat and humidity in a damn dress and high heels would be mandatory but that's stinking, craphole ERAC for ya!!!!
They want you to remain a "business-like professional" but explain to me how the hell that's supposed to happen when you have to do the above and by the time you're through your make-up has been sweated off?????????
ERAC sux and they not only screw over their employees but they really know how to stick it to the customers!!!! And ya don't even get a dinner out of it either!!!
