Changed my view of Enterprise

I wanted to send this message out to give credit where credit is deserved. I used to be a steady Enterprise renter until I had an absolute horendouse expereience with an office in California where I was charged for CDW/ PAI/ SLP that I did not sign for ( I had the pink copy to prove it),I was charged for 12 extra days after I was told to leave the rental at the body shop as a "LAST DAY" had been issued becasue my car was ready. It took 7 weeks before I got my proper refund back.

Anyway, I recently flew in to Tucson AZ where I had a reservation with Budget (my prefered provider at the time), I had a mid size car reservation and when I got there (3 hours late becaue of a mechanical issues) they only had a TRUCK/ MINIVAN/ or SUV for me and I had to pay for them because I did not call to move my reservation. Well screw that I walked to National/Alamo and got a quote, went to Hertz and got a quote, went to Dollar and got a quote. I wasn't even going to go to Enterprise but the guy at the counter just flashed me a smile and a little Good day nod. I thought what the hell give them a chance. I explained to the man at the counter (his name was Stuart) my situation. He asked to see my Budget reservation (41.95 a day). I was a little confused, but showed him any way. He said "Sir, you look like you have had a god awful day! Let me walk you out back and show you what midsize cars I have avaialble and we will match that rate for ya no problem!" I was floored! This is the type of service I used to recieve from Enterprise.
We waited about a minute until another representative came to the counter and Stuart walked me back to the garage area. Showed me all the mid size cars he had, plus a few SUV's and some nicer end cars. I picked my car and at that moment a Sporty Cadillac pulled in to return and I fell in love. Stuart was typing me up in the office in the garage when he saw my eyes light up. He let me know that was his favorite car in fleet. I asked him what they go for. He said usually between $129- 89.99 Just depended on the demand. I asked if it were available. He said sure. I backed off once I realized $100.00 dollars a day was a little steep. Stuart said to hold one second as he said he was looking at reservations for today and tomorrow. No Caddilacs were needed and he offered it to me for $75 a day. All I had to do was wait 5 minutes for it to be cleaned up. Well it only took 3 minutes and I drove off in style with a smile on my face.
On my return I found out that Stuart was the Branch Manager at that location. He looks to be 21 maybe (too young to be beat down maybe). But, his service was incredible and his office seemed to feed off it. They helped with my bags, got me a cart that was left by another customer and had yet to be returned to the cart rack. And then said "thank you for your business!" I trully believe that Stuart was created a truly customer friendly enviroment where his employees realize that with no customer there are no jobs.
