I hear that with the tapped out growth in sacramento and the economy that upper management is tightening the screws and people are jumping offboard like rats off a sinking ship. People are getting written up for all kinds of reasons, they fired a really good Corp accounts person at the beginning of the year and some other top performers left as well. They put an area manager in her position and consolidated his old spot. Not a good time to be there. Everyone in the region has got to be feeling the pressure. I bet its even worse now than it used to be.

It is not just Region 30CC but the entire Group. Suzie and the RVP's are allowing people to be written up and fired for bogus and unsubstantiated reasons. The Group has either lost or fired quality seasoned employees for no apparent reason. There is no actual logic to the decision making that is taking place. The most upsetting fact is that Grace is towing the company line rather then doing the right thing and ensuring that the employees have a fair and equal voice, which they do not. People are leaving because Group 30 sucks. I do not know how she was in 30FF but she is a horrible Group HR Manager. Suzie, The RVP's and the Department Heads have become a monarchy that is just as bad as if not worse then that of Roman Emporer Nero. Their methods of motivation by oppression is not working and the employees that are leaving in flocks are proof of their tyranical ruling practices. Other rent-a-car companies RVP's have taken a 25% pay cut to lead by example and help their respective companies but not ours. No those greedy bastards with their guaranteed salaries, large homes and extravigant lifestyles are so out of touch with the rest of us who are just trying to make ends meet without any hope of a cost of living pay raise to help soften the blow of rising gas prices and everthing else effected by them. I will soon be joining the ranks of the recently escaped before I too am crucified by the oppressive leadership of Group 30. I say this with saddness as I once loved this company and "bleed green" but not any more. I can no longer stay aboard and while the hurricane Suzie has allowed to brew gain force and attack the once faithful ERACers that now are just like me. Looking for a way to get the hell out of this terrible storm.

If you really knew anything about anything you'd know that out of all of us the RVP's have taken the biggest pay cut on a % basis -- most close to 50% -- just because of how their payplans are set up. None are on guaranteed salaries like you say. I'll agree that it certainly doesn't "hurt" them as bad as it does us...and yes, they're still getting a decent paycheck. But seriously, have some common sense instead of just babbling on. If you want out then get out. What are you waiting for? Incidentally, what are these "flocks" you're talking about?
