They preach work-life balance then I hear my RVP complain when the HR guy tells him they have to give people floating holidays because Christmas and New Year's fall on the weekend. So it's OK for the RVP and the RRM's to take the holidays off to spend time with their families, but no one else can?? Some work-life balance!

Work life balance is a crock of shit.

It's only a "balance" if all you like to do is work....

My branch manager told me that I cannot use the floating holidays on a Monday or a Friday. Fuck that tool. ERAC is a fucking joke.

The biggest lie:

see "Founding Values"

My favorite: Enterprise is a fun and friendly place to work where teamwork rules.

Have you ever tried to gain a car from another branch while sitting at 95% when they are at 86% and they are afraid of losing their fleet? Then they finally give in and give you an '03 Focus with bald tires and the check engine light on and know you are so desperate you will take it? Ever have someone else's POS drop at your branch and you throw it back "no gain @ XXXX" and you start a war where they throw it back "ox and gain" and you throw it back "no gain @ xxxx" because NO ONE likes to write OXs because then YOU have to ride the car and even when it gets back from the shop it will STILL be a POS even if you get it detailed 500 times?

Teamwork rules.

I must concur on that one. Teamwork rules, my ass. Those games about gaining cars from another office were ridiculous. I certainly don't miss it.
