If your BM makes 90K/year and AM 150/k, then ask them to see their paychecks. They might have 1 or 2 good months of commission but look at their ytd. I guarantee they don't make as much as they claim. It's just a way to keep you in ERAC.

The answer is simple --- the myth of the big payout. I am a recent ERAC hireling, and just recieved my first paycheck. I actually grossed $1300 dollars but only took home 75% of it. My branch manager makes almost 90k per year, and has only been with the company five years. My area manager will make close to $150k this year, and has only been with ERAC four years.

I recently purchased a new vehicle. My car payment is about $450 per month, for a duration of six years. By the time I pay it off, I will likely be a Branch Manager making three or four times what I am making now.

My father is a professional with a doctorate degree and he only makes about $120k per year. In five or six years, I might surpass his annual income with only a Bachelor's Degree.

I get my hour lunch break every day, and only work one or two Saturdays per month. I spend most of my time driving around new vehicles (even Cadillacs) and meeting all sorts of interesting people. Everyone at my job is hilarious, my BM is pretty laid back, and my AM acts like everyone's older brother. Even my RRM is approachable, and company functions are awesome. The hours are long, but they are anything but tedious.

Sure, I could go to Law School, or Business school, or even get a Ph.D. and become a college professor. But that would require more debt, more studying, and the end result (at best) would be equivalent to my potential at ERAC.

Are you serious?? They have brainwashed you well ya little fucker. Kudos to ERAC. And by the way, Is driving a Cadillac from your office to a house or body shop down the street really that fun??? Are you going to pick up some chicks in it and then say, I gotta go pick up a lady who just totaled her car, I'll be back in an hour in my aveo? Secondly, your BM ain't making 90k. If that is what he/she is telling you, they are lying.
I do hope it works out for you, but you ideas of this job are way out of skew if you know what I mean. When I started, I was stoked like you, then I realized the ERAC was just a shit storm and the wind was blowing my way. So, I quit and am 10x happier now with more money, more time, and more toys.

Standard ERAC protocol when it comes to telling people what you make.

1)Calculate best possible month for the entire year.
2) Multiply by twelve.

Everyone at ERAC says they make more than they actually do. Your Branch Manager nor your Area Manager were making that kind of money. How do I know, I saw everyone's payplan for the entire group while I was at corporate for a company project. I read all the ERAC protocol for all commissioned employees ranging from Assistant Manager all the way up to the GM for the group.

The original thread has been on here for a while, I wonder if the guy is still with the company.
