You start off at $15/hour. We sometimes need to log over time a few times a month, especially at the beginning of the month. In the end it comes out to the mid 30's like 36k to 37k.

That fucking sucks. How can a degreed accountant earn so little? How does Enterprise justify that?

well, when you consider the fact that your typical accountant that starts at 40k to 50k a year works 12+ hour days and weekends, making less isn't so bad. call me crazy, i'd rather make that mid 30's starting salary working 8 to 5, monday thru friday, weekends off then earn the extra 10k a year and be miserable! and it doesn't take long to start getting promoted and making more $$$.

how long does it take for accountants to move up? hows the work environment?

you can easily move up to level 2 in a year, year and a half. and it's a fun env't, busy in it's own way, but no dealing with shit customers.

If you got your accounting degree from Devry then Enterprise is the place to be. Not one person with a respectable accounting degree will work at this shit company and make less than a salesman at Circuit City.
