You guys are awesome! You tell it how it really is! I hear over on the Big Island they actually have an office with no manager. Noone wants the job because they won't make jack shit for money. ERAC hawaii is a joke and I truely do feel sorry for any of those people who are sticking it out. All of my friends moved to hawaii and are making more than they did on the mainland. Thats because the cost of living is insanely high. Why then does Wayne pay less than they do in somewhere like Texas or Oregon? I pride myself with the fact that I never referred anyone to work for Group 36 because I truely would be wasting their time and probably ruining a year or two of their lives. The outer Islands are so neglected that admin just sweeps all of them under the rug. Any of the big promotions almost always come from the mainland if you havn't noticed. Why then would we want to pay our dues here for the next 10 years thinking we might get a shot at the big time? Go to hell Tanaka and hurry up and retire so maybe they'll hire some dumbass from the mainland to fill you're tiny ass shoes.

i "hacked it" on the big island for a couple months before finding another job. (hell, ANYTHING is better than enterprise!!!!!!) the rumors are true, there is a branch with no manager and the last I heard, their esqi was a 54. why, might you ask? well well well...the area manager f'd up the agreement with the shopping center, and they took away the car wash station. now, imagine: not being able to wash or vacuum any of the cars? gee, why aren't they getting a high esqi? probably those employees fault. at least that's who the area manager blamed for it.

and yeah, it is 850 every two weeks. a grand $9.36 per hour. kona taco bell is hiring starting at $10. erac is so generous...

They still don't have a manager on Big Island? I left admin almost six months ago and they were having issues with that. Big Island shouldn't feel bad because Maui is just as crappy. Noone does anything right over there because it's too "far away from the flagpole" so to speak. Everyone just does whatever they want because no one's watching. Not to mention the fact that all the customers on outer island are f***ing derelicts. Every time we got some crazy claim involving a totaled vehicle with goats and chickens and a three ringed circus involved, oh and of course no insurance or CDW, you knew it was an outer island claim. ERAC should just forget those places. They're practically third world countries.

Default OUT!

OK OK... Yeah ERAC MAUI is a fucking joke! I was there almost 2 years and Friday was my last day! I feel that I have my life back but I think it's going to be quite an adjustment. I start a new job tomorrow, 30 hours a week and over twice the pay I was making as an AM. How absurd is that? They gave me my exit interview to fill out myself which I thought was a bit strange?? When I read the questions I just about died!!! They wanted to know why I was leaving, what my new job was, and how much money I was going to make. Unlike half of the Hawaii employees, I do have a college degree and making less than 2g's a month for 50 hr's a week an absolute joke I told them. I've heard that this company is pretty good on the mainland but here in Hawaii it is absolute shit. Half the offices here don't let you use water to clean your cars and we were forced to use a bucket and a wet rag in ninety degree weather.. How shitty is that?? What is wrong with this picture? When I was promoted to AM I began making less than MT's. I was always a top performer as an MT so I began asking questions.. What did I get in return? A fucking drug test! My area manager told me that there were rumors going around that I had been seen at a drug dealers house! Funny thing is is that I'm probably one of the only people who work for them who doesn't even smoke weed! Boy, they sure thought they were sneaky! Fuck you ERAC Hawaii and I sure hope you don't win any more awards from the better business bureau or hawaii business magazine for business ethics.. You guys are unethical and so greedy you make me sick. Wayne, JB, Julie, Dee...etc, etc... Ya'll can kiss my fucking ass. It is true, you guys don't give a shit about the other islands.. You actually have to send a salesman over here to be the area manager to con employees about the "BIGGER PICTURE." There isn't a bigger picture here.. Just a quick turn around so you can pay people less and less.. GO TO HELL and GO FUCK YOURSELVES!!! peace...out!

Good luck with your new job. As for taking the drug test, all assistants have to take it even myself when I got promoted.

Looks like the maui group lost another branch manager today! Is that 3 managers and 1 assistant in the last year?? Congratulations Wayne! Your retention sucks! There will be a few more added to the list soon I bet! Oh well, just replace them and pay them less than the last guy. I mean hell, you're actually going to get a branch manager of a 500 car branch for under 40k a year now...GOOD WORK!!!! Please, somebody from the mainland tell us if it's this bad!!???

At least the guys from the mainland get happy hours and cool outings. Their Christmas parties are pretty good from what I've seen on the site too. All our "perks" are either abysmal, or non existent.

That's good they started doing something cool for you guys. Does your area manager take everyone out or is it the branch manager?
