Re: 2 weeks unpaid vacation WHOOHOO! lol, even when I first started with the company, I already knew of beforehand of failingenterprise.com! I wanted to see how bad it really was, and because I was desperately looking for a job, I decided why not?! In the beginning it wasn't bad, in the middle, I started to have doubts, and ultimately now that I'm at 3614 I so realize the sick sad truth. Even though we think we're management trainees, we're nothing but retail rental agents just like people at Hertz,Budget, Avis, National, etc. The only thing different, is that most of us are college educated, and we have to dress business casual. For what? Do be Enterprise different? To have to succumb to the will of all customers?! From reading other posts outside of Hawaii, ERAC trully makes their money by the flip of their vehicles, not by the profits generated by the branch! But all these upper level managers are brainwashed and are forced to sell the dream of making it big! Another rant on customer service, we try to give them superior customer service, yet we always hustle and deceive our customers in what kind of car they had reserved for, or even if they are a walk-in, we are taught to jack up the prices. And especially coverage sales, we're supposedly doing a good service explaining customers about our protections packages, yet we lie to them even more by telling them they only have 2 options, basic or full, or even not tell them anything and just have them initial the accepts coverage in hopes of 0531 ing it just to help your stats. Before I got hired at ERAC, I read the reasons why the site owner felt ERAC is failing. After working here, he knows the truth behind it all! Reservations for rental car doesn't mean shit. I've had numerous occasions where we were out of rental vehicles and I had to tell customers we had NOTHING left. Man, the shit I had to hear from them. I always hated to do the phantom upgrade! Lying right to their faces saying the car they reserved is not ready yet, but we have a minivan ready so you don't have to wait! There are no business ethics here! Now the airport have these little incentives of $25 gift cards and dinner to team who Hustles and bustles customers out of their own money (but still giving exceptional customer service) so that good ol Wheeler and the rest of 'em can look good! |
