I'm not sure who the previous post was from but let me tell you that I LOVE YOU!!!! I am glad that someone out there does not think I just couldn't hack it. I put up with a lot of ERAC crap for a long time. I did everything "they" asked me to do and they always kept saying- you will get the next promotion except it never happened. I like to think I didn't suck as a manager. I always tried to take care of my people and have a good attitude. I just wasn't possible any more. It will catch up with them soon. As T-money said, they keep losing the managers with presence. The younger managers coming up are still bright-eyed with heads in the clouds. Reality will set in. I wish MOST of you that are still there the best of luck. My only advise is watch out for yourself and trust very few of the ARM. They are trying to save their own butts and do not give a damn about your career-regardless of what they say. For those that need it (JR) you can email me at hc(last name)@msn. I think I am in the phone book also. HH

HH, Everyone knows HKL threw you under the bus. She had a choice and she chose to use you as a sacrifice to save her own butt. She will get what she deserves in the end. I remember her as the 50's queen at 3830 for 2 or 3 months in a row her esqi was in the 50's. Of course there is no one left who remembers that. KC tried to have her fired and instead he got the boot. She has 9 lives but they are about to run out. Shame on CM and BB for letting such a poor example of an area manager make a decision like that. CM and BB will wake up one day and regret not stepping in and doing what really needed to be done.

HH, There IS life after ERAC. Glad to see you've stopped being force-fed the green Kool-Aid! Soon your blood will go back to the regular red color it should be. However, just like the occult or serious drug addiction, it will take a while to recover. I still catch myself talking about ERAC using words like "we" or "us" like I'm still part of that operation. Its tough, but any job that you take now will seem like a vacation compared to the hours of hell and stress you've been put through. -CJ ERAC vet. 7 tours of duty.

CJ Thanks for the vote of confidence. That green kool-aid stains for a long time. I was at a career fair the other day and saw those bright-eyed fresh college grads line up for the BIG E interview. I wanted to tell them to run far far away. Those that were in the meeting with the recruiters got the real story . . . The exact words were " ERAC has a great training program, it is a does not pay much but it is a good place to get your first year sales experience so you can apply for these other jobs". The two people sitting on either side of me immediately crossed ERAC off their list. HAHAHA So what have you been up to lately? It was good to hear you are still around. HH

I think that I got paid my commission for the entire time I worked there. It just depends if they keep you around...if they are short staffed at all. My area manager at the time (CM) told me not to tell (BB) so I could stay and work out my last couple days. Once he told BB (on my last day) I was told to pack up my stuff and leave. I was out about 20 minutes later...

HH I'm working in Columbus with a major propane company. I used to have to rent cars from ERAC every week for work, but now not so much. Man, that was a wierd feeling being on the other side of the clipboard for a change! No, I dont' take dub, my man, corporate rental! Here, let me fill that out for ya! No one know me there now. In fact, as the years go by, I don't think anyone hardly recognizes me!
