| CJ- That is funny! I think I was one of the last holdouts from the KI days. No, I take that back, Baker is still around to carry the torch. I always thought you got a raw deal but then doesn't everyone get their turn? I look back and think of all the people that passed thru the doors in my 9 plus years. I am still feeling a little guilty about all the green kool-aid I passed out to my MT's. Oh well, at least I can now give them all a good reference. Glad to hear things are well with you! I watch for your updates. HH |

| HH... Isn't that true? Somehow, I feel guilty too about passing out the green kool-aid. Honestly...did you EVER believe it? Or did you just pass it out because that's what you were supposed to do? I just passed it out because that's what I was supposed to do. I never believed any of that garbage. But somehow they managed (even though I never "bought in") to get 60 hours out of me every week. Hope all is well! KK |

| Hi KK- I think it was a little of both. Passing the kool-aid on was expected so being the good "team player" I served it up. I knew I wasn't cut-throat enough to get any further- but they kept that damn carrot just in front of your face and kept saying your are next just hang on. What bologna! Anyway, things are looking up now. I have to laugh when I hear about everyone that has left. I can only imagine what the retention rate is now. I still see the recruiters at the job fairs and think- they must be desperate. If they spent half the time on the people they already have in place they wouldn't have the issues. I hope CM and BB wake up soon. Their butts have to be on the line. So KK, how is married life treating ya? It is always good to hear from my old buddies! HH |

| What losers? I haven't worked for ERAC for over 6 years and don't even talk about em.' Embelish in your newfound successes and forget the hell you left behind. OK maybe I currently work about 50-55 hours/week currently but I also make nearly 120k w/great benefits, company car, and decent amount of travel. My how nice a last day can work out for some of us! |

Hi Pot! In case you haven't noticed, you're on www.failingenterprise.com. You call us "losers" for coming here and talking about what's going. Yet YOU are here. If you didn't have some sort of interest in what was going on, I'm sure you wouldn't have made it THIS deep into the website. As for your current position, it's great to hear that you've done so well for yourself! I am currently an ex-ERAC employee making approximately the same pay. Yet I work approximately 10-20 less hours per week when compared to you. I also have great benefits, a company car and DON'T have to travel! So it sounds like you still have some room to improve! Sincerely, Kettle |

Thanks for enlightening me! First off, I just heard about the site a few months ago from a fellow friend and thought it'd be nice to hook up w/old friends, not see a b*&$% -fest. It's just sad that so many have nothing to do with their time but to dog the place out. Get over it you all probably got canned for gossipping about which ARM got with which MT/Ass. Mgr. GET A LIFE. OK I admit I worked a ton of hours and got tired of buying new ties due to being sucked into vacuum's all the time but it paid the bills and definitely assisted in the desireability for future employers. Anyone I interviewed with thought of all ERAC'ers as probable idiots for working the job but loved the fact that most of us have a serious work ethic. On another note, I am glad you make more than me and work less hours and I am sure someone can outdo you--WHO CARES! By the way, love the travel as I get the opportunities to see lots of places and see sooooo much more than you ever will--LIAR! |

As for the travel part, I applaude you for getting to see more places than I ever will. I do enjoy travelling for family vacations. We do quite a bit of it actually. For that matter, I've set foot on 3 different continents in the last 4 years. I don't enjoy travelling for work though and I'd appreciate if you recognized that not everyone shares your exact values. Travelling for work takes me away from what's really important in MY life. I am not jealous of your worldly voyages but I'd appreciate if you could at least e-mail me some photos so I can also enjoy the sights from your travels. I will agree with you on the work ethic part. When you leave ERAC, if you continue to have the same work ethic, you will RUN CIRCLES around your co-workers and your competition. Potential employers will recognize that, giving you the opportunity to stand out and make some serious dough. Lastly Pot, why would it matter to you if people come here to complain about ERAC? You've made it clear that you've moved on and don't even think about the place anymore. This website has thousands and thousands and thousands of posts from all around the country and around the globe. Each thread seems to be a complaint of some sort from current employees, former employees, body shops, customers, insurance companies...and the list goes on. If in any way you are offended by what goes on here, it is your choice to leave and not return to the website. That being said, I understand that it is also your choice to post your feelings on here and I respect that. Please be aware though that you will, more often than not, be met with strong opposition from the vast majority of the folks who come to this website as a form therapy or even just for entertainment. The clear theme here is "ERAC IS BAD." You are definitely in the minority. Oh yeah...one more thing. It IS great not having your ties get stuck in a vacuum cleaner every day. Isn't it? God. That used to SUCK (pardon the pun). Kettle |
