HKL- the ERAC Queen is gone?????

Sorry you had to endure all the crap with HKL. Sorry you got the axe. Hopefully, you are better off doing something worthwhile now. Catty is good for this post. Post more details. Do tell.

It is sad to say but HKL will not make it in any other company with her management skills. There is no team building there as far as I can see. To be an effective manager, you must be able to guide your team towards a common goal. I guess all those negative aspects caught up to her.

I always thought you did a great job HH---even as understaffed as your branch was. Take Care.

I'm sure DC won't have a problem finding someone else to sleep with at company functions. He sure didn't have a problem in that department before he started doing his sister in law (HKL).

I can honestly say that I was shocked to hear about HKL's departure from ERAC. I, too, had the pleasure of working with her for several years and she was instrumental in my training early on. We worked together at 3830 as a manager/assistant team and were perhaps known as the "2 biggest bitches to ever work for ERAC". There is definately some validity to all these postings and what goes around ,does come around BUT let's remember that someone did lose their job. HKL, it's probably a blessing....atleast now more time can be spent with the little one.

Whoever said HKL's performance had nothing to do with her firing is an idiot. You dont roll a 12 month lower 70s ESQI score and hang on for long.

Yeah, I also heard the "car prep story" as the reason for HKL's departure. But if they they are firing area manager's for that, AZ would have been gone 10 days after she started. Dont give me that " nothing to do with performance" crap, if she was posting numbers they would find a way around any issue.

She was performing poorly, shes been around too long, and her people didnt like her. Add that to a "car prep" incident and you got an ARM looking for a new job, end of story.

And another thing.....there were grumblings of HKL's job on the line when I left a long time ago. Numbers matter.

hkl was a dirty drunk that talked a ton of shit about her own employees. she will not be missed.

As a person, she was a lot of fun. As a manager, I found her very hard to work with. I had the "pleasure" of working with her for mutliple years. She was very passionate about her position but unfortunately, her way was the only way. She would get you so bogged down in the nit-picking that you lost track of the big picture.

No one remembers that while at 3830, she ran that place to the ground. Now, I will be the first to admit that 3830 is truly the "ROCK". But she got away with posting multiple 50-ish ESQi scores. She couldn't keep up with 58/59- it was too much for her to handle. She couldn't get herself promoted out of 3830 so she got moved to the RAM position and got the ARM position from there. HMMMM, kinda makes you think.

HKL was very definate in her opinions and was more than a little inappropriate in her comments about her employees. I personally was in meetings with her and other managers were she would call out others memebers of her staff- MT, Assistants, BM and flat out say "they are a pice of shit" and no-good and they are never going anywhere. It was her right to that opinion but it never should have been made public. In my eyes it underminded her authority. Face it, it made it hard for me to respect her when I had one of my MT's come back and say they were at another branch and heard her on the stupid cell phone say that I sucked as a manager and let my office "go to hell". Nevermind the fact she had seriously understaffed my office and I was just trying to keep the place afloat. I know that MT never respected her and was doing everything he could to get out of her area. That is just one example, She never seemed to get it that anyone with her could hear her side of the cell phone conversation.

The last part that I found so annoying was her constant "expecation" that you be the ultimate Area J cheerleader. And you have to hang out with them and of course, you MUST DRINK with them. Good God, I didn't want to join the Area J fraternity. Guess that is why I got cut out.

Anyway, wether you love her of hate it, she is gone. I heard although her performance had continued to decline (including 3850 with the new manager- sorry that was catty) the reason she is gone is not the performance but part of all the other stuff. It took a long time for it to catch up with her. I hope she learns something from it for her next position.

Get a life and move on...if you're so much happier away from ERAC, why are you spending your time insulting others, including 3850 with the new manager, that would never insult you or your less than stellar performance?

Ok, then that would explain why you are on the site too. You obviously can't read. She never said a bad word about the mgr at 3850. Just that the performance had continued to decline, which I believe is true. 3850 is a crap hole of a branch. It's in a crappy neighborhood, has crappy customers, and the cars get the crap beat out of them. I personally never called 3850 for cars because I knew I would get a bum car. It wasn't her fault or the person before her and so on..... 3850 will most likely never perform. Bad debt will always be high, esqi will always suck for the most part. It's like they say in real estate, "location, location, location."
