HKL- the ERAC Queen is gone?????

Just got the news. Is it true????? What happened???

It is TRUE. Sad to see her go.

Wow, I thought she was a lifer for sure. I guess everyone gets theirs in turn.

I'm glad to see HKL go. She was the worst manager I've ever known. She was catty and talked about absolutely everyone. I know there will be people on here that will defend her, but chances are she had quite a bit to say about YOU too. I'm surprised it took this long for her to get fired!

I Loved HKL. She was the "GREATEST" ARM in the history of Columbus. She never spoke about me since I keep tabs on her. I am not here to defend her just merely stating that she was and is a great person.

There is a changing of the guard going on. Good or bad, all ARMs beware.

Love her or hate her I don't really care. For those of you who loved her keep in mind she definitely talked about you behind your back!!! True she may be a good person but what she did to HH was really low down and dirty and as you see it didn't take long for them to figure HH wasn't the problem. Actually they problem wasn't even with HKL it was the way she was trained. You can't fault her for that. We are taught early on to say yes and book the deal and worry about getting the car later. Well my friends, that will eventually be the down fall of ERAC. One can't lie to a customer and think they will be happy and return. I personally know I would never rent from ERAC because I know that there is a likely chance that I won't get what I reserved and if I do, it is sure to smell like a dirty ass.

Her leaving had nothing to do with performance folks - so you can shut your mouths on that. It was a totally different incident.

She NEVER talked about me behind my back. I got spies everywhere and I electronically bugged her office, automobile, and home. Besides I got a mind as sharp as a steel trap.

But lets face it . . .

HKL had her nine lives at ERAC. That girl got away with more crap than any one person. I am going to try not to be bitter and catty.

As a person, she was a lot of fun. As a manager, I found her very hard to work with. I had the "pleasure" of working with her for mutliple years. She was very passionate about her position but unfortunately, her way was the only way. She would get you so bogged down in the nit-picking that you lost track of the big picture.

No one remembers that while at 3830, she ran that place to the ground. Now, I will be the first to admit that 3830 is truly the "ROCK". But she got away with posting multiple 50-ish ESQi scores. She couldn't keep up with 58/59- it was too much for her to handle. She couldn't get herself promoted out of 3830 so she got moved to the RAM position and got the ARM position from there. HMMMM, kinda makes you think.

HKL was very definate in her opinions and was more than a little inappropriate in her comments about her employees. I personally was in meetings with her and other managers were she would call out others memebers of her staff- MT, Assistants, BM and flat out say "they are a pice of shit" and no-good and they are never going anywhere. It was her right to that opinion but it never should have been made public. In my eyes it underminded her authority. Face it, it made it hard for me to respect her when I had one of my MT's come back and say they were at another branch and heard her on the stupid cell phone say that I sucked as a manager and let my office "go to hell". Nevermind the fact she had seriously understaffed my office and I was just trying to keep the place afloat. I know that MT never respected her and was doing everything he could to get out of her area. That is just one example, She never seemed to get it that anyone with her could hear her side of the cell phone conversation.

The last part that I found so annoying was her constant "expecation" that you be the ultimate Area J cheerleader. And you have to hang out with them and of course, you MUST DRINK with them. Good God, I didn't want to join the Area J fraternity. Guess that is why I got cut out.

Anyway, wether you love her of hate it, she is gone. I heard although her performance had continued to decline (including 3850 with the new manager- sorry that was catty) the reason she is gone is not the performance but part of all the other stuff. It took a long time for it to catch up with her. I hope she learns something from it for her next position.
