Most definitely a "B". I walked in after one year of dying a little every day and gave them a two week notice. I knew they were short-staffed and offered to work my two weeks if they needed it. Surprisingly, they took me up on the offer and I worked 10 more days (mostly as a prep) to help off-set the shortage. It was great because I left on a good note without burning bridges, but its even better because I love my new job and I never have to go back to the Green Machine ever again!

B & C and this happened about 7 yrs ago. B. Actually was given the ultimatum and 3 months later hit beyond the goals requested (78 ESQI from 67), so they were cool. So I continued onward with my "green attitude" for an additional 2 years. Weird but it happened. C. I just called up my ARM and we left the office to check on a repo since I told him I really needed to talk too and immediately said "I'm OUTTA HERE BUDDY." Funny but folks seem to really have balls once a great (not good) job lined up already. He asked me to please think about it and reconsider and even called the City Mgr and I went in for my exit where he asked if this was what I wanted to do--He got the mssg after asking me to stay or think about it about 3-4 times. Didn't matter as I had a position I'd already accepted and was to begin w/in 1 month. On the ride home in my ARM's car I warned him to get out soon as life's too short to not be able to enjoy it and that ERAC will no doubt chew you up at some point. Needless to say, he was canned soon thereafter. Enough about me though. any that are still there or considering please think about life in realistic terms--how cool would it be to go to your HS/College reunion and have someone ask what's wrong with your tie only to tell them it's falling apart due to the extreme suction provided by the ERAC vaccum in the back cleaning bay. Life is worth more than 60 hours and $10/hour salary!!!!!!!!!!!!

C for me as well, and here's my story. I was constantly "asked" (and I use that term loosely) to use my own vehicle to complete office tasks such as picking up and dropping off vehicles. My idiot branch manager told me that since I was using my own car, I would be able to use the company gas card to put gas in my car if I needed it. Apparently, this goes against company policy which I had no idea. Well, I didn't use the card for about six or seven months until one day wen I really needed it because I had forgetten my wallet. I think I put in 20 bucks worth of fuel which was far less than I had paid for when using my own vehicle. About a week later I was confronted by the area manager that they suspected me of stealing gas. I told them I would not quit because I didn't do anything wrong and he agreed that it was ok and after hearing my story said he would stick up for me. The very next day the upper Enterprise brass came into the office and informed me that I was suspended without pay until they determined my fate. I also learned that my branch manaer lie and told them she never authorized me to use the gas card under any circumstances. I immediately quit because I no longer wanted to work with such unethical snakes. That company is garbage and I hope eventually people realize how much they take people for all the money they can get out of them.

With regards to the person who posted the last comment on using your gas card...YOU had the misfortunate opportunity to work for a manager who had no earthly idea how to manage a branch as easy as that one. I don't think I have ever seen that "country club" of a branch produce such horrible numbers in terms of profit. I guess we'll see what happens to her in car sales where low producing managers go before they leave.

C C C C I was given an ultimatum to sign, saying that my ESQI would rise by 10 points on the next three month score or I'd volunteer to resign! I would be signing my own pink slip! I got freaked out, showed them that what they asked was mathematically impossible because we were half-way through the 3 months that they wished me to improve, and I refused to sign. They re-worked it a little bit, but at that time I sought counsel and was told to refuse to sign anything that would admit your own fault. So I didn't. I was then reminded by K after furious phone calls to HR about my renegade attitude, that "Ohio is an at will state, we don't need you to sign anything!" Then I asked, if that's so, then why have you kept me at the corporate office for three hours trying to get me to do that? They didn't have an answer to that. I still worked on ofr about 3 months, looking for another job, realizing that they were out to get me. No seriously, I was TOLD by my CRM that they were out to get me! He said that I had to come up with an action plan concerning my "core areas" and submit it to him! Well, ESQI increased, and just like finding a conversion rental, all was forgiven. and then, BAM! ESQI dropps three points, and they made my ARM come get me and drive me to HQ! I'm a dumbass if I couldn't figure out what came next. The worse part was having to clean out my desk with my whole staff in shock. Then as I was being driven home, my ARMs had the nerve to start pumping me for information about A/R processes on large dealer accounts. I said, "If I remember right, I no longer work for you." Of course, both parties were fired (ARM, and CRM), but who doesn't get fired at ERAC>>>

I gotta go with the "B"! Everything was cool until they moved me to the dayton airport and i had to put up with that 2-faced Gordon broad. "I'm so happy you came to help" quickly became "I wish you would do more for the team" Came into work on a sunday when we were still washing cars over at vandalia in the ice and snow and my other 2 guys decided to call in. I said "bye" left the keys out in the lot car and was gone.
