Most popular guys are balding and fat now so for those 4 years congrats on being great. If you want the rest of your life to be like highschool then shave your nut hair, lose some weight and jackoff everynight....otherwise get yourself a new suit (one that is not stained with car wash soap and fast food condiments, suck in that gut and tell people you are a branch manager for ERAC. You are involved in training people to become managers and future leaders, you handle an inventory of over 3.6 million dollars (or just multiply your cars time avg price of $16k for shits and giggles) and you are incharge of collections, customer service, sales and retention. It's all how you word it.
It's all in how you word it..... custodial services representative sounds better than janitor, right? Call it what you will, ur still Andy's bitch.

What are you going to do when the man one step higher on the corporate ladder fires you? I'm pretty sure your management skills involving taking advantage of your employees AND customers is really going to pay off big. I'm not sure there's anywhere else in corporate America that truly awards management by exploiting employees. Find me another job that requires you to wear a suit and still pays $9/hour.

I somewhat feel that I have underachieved by working at ERAC and although currently a mgr at a sizeable branch will look like a lackey or something. Ever since I took this job everyone said "are u gonna' wash cars all your life" "you guys sure ruin your clothes," i am sure you've heard them all. How do you deal with the expectations from fellow old friends that are now atty's, dr's, and even a pro football player that have achieved great success but look at me (and all of you) and all we can say is that we can rent the hell out of a 15-packer. I am really being serious as I feel that I am a "possible loser" as are the rest of us who couldn't hack it in the "real world". Any thoughts appreciated?

To the original poster. Go to your reunion. You could possibly use it to network. I graduated HS, joined the Army for 3 yrs and after that college. I was a little older than most typical ERAC hires. ERAC said it gave me an added advantage of "maturity & credibility" when I was hired. They just needed a body. I made AM but only stayed 8 mos because I saw the BS immediately. Another poster said it's not all about the money. Yeah, lots of folks are hung up on that but it takes a lot more than $$ to make the world go around. Don't let these other posters discourage you-because there is always a lot of folks who are a lot worse off than you.
