Default The Good 'Ol Days

Does anyone remember the good old days of just renting cars and being able to run your own business? Now it seems like my area manager is just running 5 large satellites. EVERY decision must go through him. I know we ALL are grossly underpaid. But at least back in the day I felt a little more appreciated for my hard work and dedication to the Green Machine. I worked my ass off to get to branch manager and now I feel like an MT again!!! And by good old days, I mean before Mangold.

Narike forever...Willard never!!!

Does anyone else take offense to the fact that you need "approval" to make decisions? If you were truly running your own business, you would make your own choices. It's a sign that things are shitty.

It's been a paycheck for about 14 months now. That's how long my head has been out of the game. If things go the way I want them to, I'll be out of ERAC before the Orlando trip. The company I'm interviewing with now, the target first year base + comm is $131,000, company car, expense account, full benefits...oh yeah, a Fortune 500 company. Medical Device!!!

I remember the good ole days when VPs rented 15 passenger vans for $1/day for two days and at the end had the area manager write the $2.17 off to cust sat.

Does anyone know what Mangold even does?? I mean other than get drunk and hit on new MT's. Or maybe he goes bowling with Willard when stress is high. No shit, Willard goes bowling in the middle of the day when he's "stressed." Sometimes the stress of spending your small fortune gets to a short, fake, round dumbfuck.

Bowling...that's classy! Is anyone sick of the "Elite CLub"? What is so elite about writing the most tickets? I thought this was a sales position! Take your lunches and evening Reds games and jam it! Hopefully tomorrow will be my last Friday EVER at ERAC!

it keeps people from counter dodging and not picking up the phone so they don't have to do a dealership run.

They've had that category for a long time. It's for people that can't sell. All they can do is write tickets. It's the only thing that keeps them from getting fired because they bring NOTHING else to the table. They have no pride in themselves or their career.
It looks like I might need to go to Orlando this year. I was hoping to get out of this hell hole before then.
