| 1st let me appoligize for your bad experience unfortunatly it happens from time to time especially when new people come into the company but rest assured everything she did was standard procedure BUT it could have been handled differently 1 they should have got your insurance info upfront BEFORE you came into the branch that way they could have called you agent and had your info BEFORE you came in same goes with the DEBIT card procedure belive me that is our biggest problem I am very glad that you understand the difference between a DEBIT and CREDIT card but most people do not know the difference, we do these thing to protect us and the customer and I will make a long story very short my first office I worked in I had a regular weekend customer who I rented to every weekend for over 6 months I never verfied his coverage he told me he had full coverage with a 500 dollar deductible well one weekend he wrecked our we collected the deductible did the accident report and sent it in to our loss control department 2 days later we found out he had no insurance and because I did not do my job he will be paying 400.00 a month for the next 7 years for a car he never owned when if I did my job for 44.95 for the weekend for the CDW I could have saved him alot of money. and as far as calling to see when you are returning it shoul;d be nothing more than a courtesy call. Happy GP 40er |

The Area Managers need to be weeded out - I never saw an aggressive business person in very many of them. Oh, well, now that I'm gone, I guess it's not my problem, right? Too bad so many of my friends still work there... |

I guess you'd be surprised to learn that Pittsburgh is still the 7th most popular city for fortune 500 companies to call home. Until a few years ago we were #5. It just takes initiative and training in the proper fields to land a career -- yes a real career -- with one of these companies. I don't know who your friends are working for or what their skills are, but there are many jobs locally that pay better than ERAC and have reasonable hours. Since you've obviously bought into the idea that ERAC is the best you can do go ahead and continue to be an overworked, underpaid, unappreciated peon for the green machine and leave the real jobs for the rest of us. To each his own! |
