Group 40 sucks. Nothing but a bunch of lame ass branch managers that don't know their ass from a hole in the ground and the area managers are just as bad. it's funny how they try to bribe you and make you happy once in a while by taking you out to a shitty local bar for "free happy hour"...i once had a manager say that if we didn't contribute some of our paychecks to the united way that they would take away our happy hours.... uhm, i don't believe that was right... i donate money the way i want to do so and besides i wasnt getting paid enough to give a portion to someone else who needed it because i was struggling just as bad while i was working there!
i still have some acquaintances that work there but i tell ya what... since i quit i'm alot happier and don't dread waking up every morning!

they use you and replace you after 3-4 years, ... if you're dumb enough to last that long. they don't need to pay higher salaries to people when younger people can do the same thing for less pay.

i used to work for gp40 almost 1 year ago, being african american i have never been around so much racism in my life. every african american customer that would come in to the office was immediately treated as a second class human, my office would automatically assume that if you were black you would not pass the credit chack and that your credit card would be maxed out and would automatically get the crapiest car on the lot and labled as a deadbeat. being from the city there are alot of prominent business men that are black and were more qualified than the racist coworkers i had to work with. also the GM of my group who was white would alwalys attend urban league functions which is a travesty. to bad they dont practice what they preach...

Too bad that 95% of the black people that come in there DONT pass the dredic check....card declines....dont cash qualify....why get mad about something thats just a fact...
