Sal did not get fired he left. He realized that working for the two idots at the top of EE was not going to work especialy if he wasn't going to make as much money as last year. Best of luck Sal!!! your finally freed from the idots.

Salvador Sacasa is a class act. Another great performer whom inspired his people, and beleived in the green dream. He was a performing area manager, and left on his terms. He left for the same reason many other good ones have left. The lack of leadership in Group 41, and more specifically Region 41EE. No one can tolerate Renzo. Unfortunately: the LOFR'S, deletes, customers, accounts, PDM'S, the hours, missing lunches three times a week, the lack of work life balance gets old unless you make $500,000. Making RVP money makes it easier to swallow this non-glamorous job. At least you are saving for the later years. Most ARMS (There is over 1300 Nationwide) made less money in 2006, then they did in 2005. What kind of a job pays you less, and expects the same output with a smile ?? 2007 will be even more challenging. With the cutbacks in fleet production from the car manufacturer, cars will cost more, and we will rent them for the same price.... You do the math. GODSPEED Sal... You were an inspiration and a true leader. You will do well, where ever it is you end up. All the best to you. If ever you have a need to hire others, I'll be excited to work for you. Renzo and Donnell have way too big of egos to realize what they have done to this region. Some say that the most dangerous people around, are stupid people that think they are smart. Great example ( RENZO ).

I knew Sal many years ago when he was the branch manager of C8 that guy bled green. He was always so pumped up and motivated his people. When he came to this region with Donell and Renzo the life was sucked out of him. Renzo treated him like a wet dog . He was constantly disrespected. Sal was unmotivated by the idiots trying to lead EE. Hey Alan when have you seen the retention so bad at EE. When have you seen 2 area managers in 60 days leave or get pushed out. Maybe Donell and Renzo need to get off their thrones and actually train and develop their employees. They many start with just having a relationship with someone in the region not to mention their accounts. Good luck Sal you will be fine there is a life after the Green Mafia.

It doesnt matter how good Sal or any of the other ARMs who left were, the way Levine and Behm look at it, is basically now they can hire a "bought-in" stooge manager that they can pay way less than Sal, and keep them for a few years until they realize the deadend job they are in, and the constant barrage of unrealistic expectations that are set for them. Again good luck to you Sal you were a good guy and you can do better than this cesspool. Again as another poster stated this place is for the timid, scared, uneducated ones who don't realize that the grass is greener on the other side, and the "education" you get at ERAC is about how to lie, cheat and steal from customers(sell that GHOST car & insurance), employees(if you do this I will get you promoted), accounts(sorry we ran outta cars, we should take better care of you but the last 3 rentals were retail where I raped the rate, so I rented them) . Go look at yourself in the mirror Alan and look back on the employees who left and what they have done for your ungrateful ass. Its amazing you can sleep at night. Sal believe me, your better off!!! |

And one more thing , like the statement you and this company likes to live by. "People dont quit the company they quit their managers." That being said your RVP's need a hard look Alan, the clock radio is beeping, its time to wake up.

I too have had the pleasure of being one of his peers.. He was the consumate professional and an exceptional friend and Manager. He fixed up messes left at 41C8 and later did exceptionally as an ARM. Its sad that coming back to 41EE and especially 41P did him in. They use to say that 41P was for profits, but I guess its for pussies like Renzo.

It is sad to see Sal one of the best area managers leave the company. He was one of the most qualified and professional area managers in the region. If he stayed with the company he would become an RVP. He motivated so many employees and now that he is gone the moral of the region is really low. The position of Area manager is no longer appealing. An area manger is just like an assistant they work more HRS and make less pay. Some MA are making more money than the new area managers. Good luck Sal send me your resume you know where we are
