How do you know that Tommy C reads this site? Do you work in corporate or something? Not trying to be a dick like some on here, just interested. On another note, how has it been running the offices in the aftermath of that bitch Wilma that just cruised through South Florida. I quit a few months ago and have been thanking my lucky fucking stars that I am not on the front lines dealing with all that bullshit. Handwriting tickets in an office with no AC or computers(although no phones, which would be a nice change) after washing my tenth car of the day sounds about as cool as a kick to the nuts. Keep the faith current 41ers, as soon as you garner up the onions to quit like I did, greener pastures await.

Can't say onions is mine entirely, as I am pretty sure I had heard it somewhere else and incorporated it into my witty repotoire, but I also can't say that it's a regionalism. Down here in South Florida you are more likely to hear someone say "juevos" than onions in reference to their beanbag I am sure. By the way, great site. Coming here definitely helped me garner up said onions to turn in my resignation and never look back, so thanks!

Oh, it's a euphemism for "balls", as in "as soon as I got the balls to quit". OK, I get it. It sounds like a southern regionalism.
