Heck, I came from GP16 and that was HEAVEN compared to 42. There are so many differences between the two. Much nicer offices in 16, the AM's and RM's actually drive decent cars and not the Taurus', Impala's and Blazer's. I think when I was in 42, I went to one party, and that was the Christmas party. With happy hour, everyone must pay for their own drinks and in 16, all you had to do was show up, eat and drink for FREE. How much better can it get? Now that I have retired from the green and moved on to something much better, I work less hour, get paid about 10K more, and actually like going to work on a Monday morning. Every day, I drive by an old ERAC office and just laugh my head off. Oh what a life.

I worked at group 42 for 3 weeks (I also posted a thred under shortest time working at ERAC). I have a family member that has worked at ERAC for 2 and 1/2 years, with the last year of that spent in group 42.....It is an abousolute nightmare. I have heard they are among some of worst in the country. I'm glad I got out but I know if my family member wants to move up we will have to move out of the state of Florida or possibly South Florida to escape the madness of group 42.

Dude are you serious??? Can you be specific?? Cause there's an area manager that's style is a little too narsasistic to manage recent college grads (the man can sell he just isn't good w/ the management of people) but...GP42 is one of the fastest moving groups in the nation!! You're saying you'd have to move out to move up??? What? Is your family member just incompetent??? You can't get promoted w/ ERAC if your lazy and can't sell.... tell your family member to take ownership of their career & "shit or get off the pot" (as my BM would say)!

You laugh huh??? I'll tell you what i'm laughing at right now: You left ERAC and you're only making 10k more??? ARe you SERIOUS??? You washed cars in suits for god knows how long (I see there's a transfer in there), delt with crackheads that spoke to YOU like YOU were the idiot... and you "retired" from ERAC w/only a 10k jump!!!

I held out for exactly 2 years "graduated ERAC class of 06'- suma cum laude" and got a 35k jump but I guess one of us is slightly more intellegent... yeh, I know I'm savy- I'm charming too ;>

And as for that whole "everyone must pay for their own drinks" in GP42??? Who's Christmas party were you at??? It wasn't ERAC man!!! I never paid for a drink at ANY Enterprise event!!! Of course I did have MC as my favorite ARM ;>-- thanks MC!!

ERAC isn't for all - but you my friend have nothing to laugh at!!! I bet you'll never top 45k- even the call back center employees have more upward mobility than that!!

I just left erac - GP42 - and will be making twice as much (literally) at my new job. As far as paying for my own drinks at happy hours, that never happened to me. I also worked for MC, and he did a great job of taking care of his people. And the Christmas party was awesome. I wonder if the guy "laughing" as he drives past an erac got invited to the same party as everybody else?

If Bill L. is still around and the social misfit Albright (sp?), then stay away from this Group. A bunch of idiots thinking they are too good for anyone and actually did something to justify their salaries. Then again, I haven't met 1 person in senior management at ERAc that has a brain...I guess thats because you don't need one to tell ticket monkey's that if they keep working 60 hours a week they can aspire to be just like them...What a joke!

Bill L and Albrecht are still there. Bill L does a shit job, just like always. And Albrecht is a concieted prick, just like always. But I didi love when he would show up at 4225 (Tampa Intl) and all the managers would kiss his ass. Fun to watch.

Even funnier than that is at national manager's meetings when Andy Taylor speaks and his "cult followers" hang on his every word. For some reason this good ol' money hungry boy has that "I'm so rich and I'm God" persona down pat! Hilarious!!
