Default Life At Enterprise

I've been reading the threads on the site for quite a while now, I am an MT in probably the worst area of the group. I have had my times of hating enterprise and my times of loving Enterprise. Sure, some things said on this site are true, occasionally we may run out of cars when you have a reservation but what we do to make up for it is far better than any rental company in the world. Sure, working at Enterprise is rough . Long hours, not the greatest of pay, and some of the management is poor. However, I love Enteprise. I hate to say it but the ones who complain the most about working at Enterprise complain because they don't have what it takes to succeed. It takes a special type of person, hardworking, selfless, motivated, customer-orienated to make it at Enterprise. Not all make it to the top, but those that do have it made. So bascially, my whole point is if you didn't have what it takes to make it to the top dont blame the company blame yourself. I personally love Enteprise. I love the people I work with, I love my manager. We work hard and we get rewarded for the hard work we do. So just because your a loser and didn't have what it takes to make it dont try to discourage others from working here!

Please don't take offense junior, but you really are too green to have a legitimate opinion. People here have been level 3's and seen quite a bit more than you have as a lowly MT. Watch the people "at the top" as you say it.
They won't be at the top forever, at least 75% will be gone within 2 yrs in your group. Some may be from transferring, but most will have been fired or quit. It is a pyrmiad in the truest since, the point keeps on getting smaller as more and more leave the higher the pyrmaid goes.
A smart hard working MT/car prep as yourself has surely taken some entry level trig classes...so you do probably realize that a pyrmaid cannot have the same amount of blocks at the bottom as it does at the top.
Keep this in mind young padawan

And further more son, a lot of us ex-employees now have the pleasure of renting from ERAC due to our fleet vehicles (phh, etc). Now be a good little car monkey and buff my cobalt, I don't have all day.
And fill that shit up to the brim

I would have said the same thing when I was a MT, even through ass. manager, then you become a Branch Manager, and the company swallows you whole. Don't come back to this thread until you become a Branch Manager, or above, if you make it that long!

First off, I've been out of the green machine for 3 years so don't accuse of me being an "E" lover.
However, we are out numbered by guys that feel the way he does. Let's face it, there are more people at ERAC that love the company than there are of us. It's just a fact. We are the minority.

To make matters worse, there are more customers that love ERAC than those that don't.

We all have to swallow are pride and realize that fact, the majority of people love to rent from Enterprise and the majority of people love to work at Enterprise. The numbers and results don't lie. This little "E" bash community is basically just a little shit stain on the "E". What makes matters worse is all this site really does now is let people make up stories about peoples personal lives true or not b/c they hate them.
This site may have been on the right track at one point but now it is just a waste of time.

I agree in part - the customers will never disappear and ERAC will always have a workforce.

But I don't think that majority of those employed by ERAC love it. Level 3 and above maybe. Those in remarketing etc., possibly. But the majority are ticket monkeys or rental gibbons who want out but don't know how - nor have the time - to do so.

The amount of those in rental looking to leave are astounding. Will that mean ERAC shuts up shop? No.

There are always fresh out of College, gullible people out there.

I kind of disagree with you, if you are an MT why the hell would you stay at ERAC if you hate it? The money? Please!

You make no money and work a ton of hours.
There is a bigger reason they stay.

All I am saying is the ones that hate it leave.
The others stay for some reason.

Just like the guy that started this link says.
One day you love it, one day you don't.

All i would say is dont drink to much of that Green punch they feed you.....
It all comes down to people in upper management trying to tread water and save there own asses.....And I am not saying its there fault because if i had the job security or lack there of that they did i would have done the same thing...my advise is if you continue love grabbing your ankles everyday for average pay and work almost 55 hours a week for it, then have fun!
