Default Thinking of moving to Jacksonville...

So I currently work as an MA for ERAC in the midwest and am thinking about moving to Jacksonville. Now I know what all working for Enterprise entails, as I've been there for a little while, but I was wondering if a few of you could give me an honest opinion of what it's like in Jacksonville. Ie, what's the pay start at for MT/MA's...and is it really THAT bad or is it pretty much the same as working at any other Enterprise in the country. Any info you could give me would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Look, ERAC is ERAC, you will experience different types of managers and structures as you move up through the company anyway. It is not as horrible as everyone makes it sound in JAX although they have a good ways to go to be a good group.

My suggestion is simple, if you truly believe that ERAC is a place where you are going to be successful and build a career then absolutely tranfer and work your tail off. But you have to commit to giving any new group a year or longer if you are going to give yourself a good shot. If you have any doubts in your head about ERAC as a company then look for another job and don't waste everyones time by transferring and quitting in 6 months.

Everyone it seems has a problem with pay anywhere they work and for every company. The pay is going to be comparable to what you are at now give or take 1,000 bucks per year.

If you personally think you are with the right company then transfer. If you are unsure, please don't and just turn over a new page.

If.
spoken like a true chimp who has been brainwashed to think 30k is awesome salary.
zero of my friends who graduated with bachelors in science are unhappy with the pay
(50k plus to start, everyone)
it is only erac style jobs (low end retail) and low end manual labor jobs that people continually bitch about pay.

Hey Cardinal WOOS, I don't even work for erac any longer. I am just stating facts. Don't freaking move with a job unless you are serious about it no matter where you work. If you hate your job and you make 100K and you are thinking about transferring, don't transfer with the company you are with because you have the job but because you are serious about getting further in your career with that company. If you are making a life changing move do it whole heartedly or mix it up and find something new to do.

If Jacksonville "has a long way to go" to be a good group, they must really be in the shitter there.
