Hardly a bad investment. Plus don't forget about the write off. You get to write off all the interest you pay on your mortgage, any improvements you make, and any expenses accrued during those improvements. There has never been a better investment. Just ask Donald Trump. Real Estate on the West Coast has never gone down and has seen jumps as high as 50% some years. My place has increased 50k this past year. It went up 60K the year before. Bottom line is if I want to sell now I will have over 100K in my pocket. What did I do, nothing? Maybe it will slow down but you are guaranteed a solid 10% every year. Do what you do best and go and wash a rig!
People said the same thing in Japan in 1989. Since then, property prices have fallen for 15 years in a row. A sure sign of a bubble is when somebody says "you are guaranteed a solid 10% every year". When the market turns, you won't be able to get out in time.

Yeah, but that was Japan, and this is the USA. Big difference. If you go back 100 years, real estate is hands down the safest and best investment out there. Even if you lose money, which you won't, you can write it off. That's capitalism at its best and you cannot do that in Japan. Reason is because our population keeps increasing because of our immigration policies. I'm sitting on 100K for doing nothing and I get $8000/year in taxes. Not bad.

All of you guys prove one thing - youre fucking stupid. Washing rigs is all you can say here. why don't you come up with something constructive and tell the audience how to improve things at ERAC or tell all the people who want to leave where to go? This would be something useful. Sorry that you had to wash rigs during your career, I washed maybe 5 in the last 5 half year, including my own car.

Google, is there anythings serious you can tell us here? All I read is free love friday, cold pizza, washing rigs and new golf clubs? I would like to know what are you real intentions, since its definitely not to get people out of ERAC, because if this would be the case you would give us some ideas and not the crap. Let me know if you have some ideas, I'd be more than happy to chat with you.
What am I doing with my time? Most recently, I have been going to friends xmas parties and shopping for a house. What would you do with an extra 15 hours in your week?

You go B7 and I focus on investing, spending time with my family, and enjoying life. I'm usually get home, cook dinner, have a cocktail or two, look at the clock and realize that Erackers still have an hour left before they even drive home! Plus, sleeping in every Saturday isn't bad either.

Ok who in the fuck cares if real estate is better in Japan or the USA, who cares what people do with the extra 15 hours they now have, and who cares about Countrywide. Let's get back on track on what this site is all about. Any new gossip in the south end? Let's talk about who's fuck up, who's screwing who, who has VD, which branch sucks, etc...
