Steve and Mia made that bed, now they gotta lie in it. KK has no business being in charge of anybody let alone the biggest branch in the state. I wouldn't trust that mongloid with a potato gun. No one wants him at any branch because he is an arrogant ass who treats people like dirt. There is a consensus at my branch that KK is the epitome of what is BAD at ERAC. The wrong people getting promoted for the wrong reasons (like being an MA for 3 years). ERAC ends up putting people in management positions who have no idea how to manage. So when an MT who is already struggling with the rigors of ERAC gets a asswipe like KK, he makes them hate their job that much more. Any manager could tell you that an unhappy worker is an unproductive worker. Yet ERAC does nothing to address this issue. They just wait till people are so miserable they want to quit, and then take them out for lunch for 2 weeks and tell them fluff like "you'll never find another job" or "you're so close to being promoted" or "we all had you pegged for an ARM spot one day". ERAC tries to hire young, sharp, and ambitious people in hopes that they don't mind putting in a little hard work for shit wages while they dangle the carrot of big money in front of their faces. They then proceed to lie, cheat, and cajole to achieve their individual success at their workers' expense. They "roll out" promotions and movements that are so wrought with deception that it alienates the masses. They think they are so sharp and ahead of the DR branch employees. Yet anyone with half a brain can see through the smoke screen. They are so afraid to share the truth behind their decision because so many of their decisions are based only on protecting the higher-ups NUMBERS for THEIR next promotion. They don't care about our careers. They're more likely to promote someon to keep them from quiting than promoting someone who deserves it. They ask us to show integrity and CS the customers on one hand. The head of corporate
PR Chrissy Conrad is even quoted as saying "we discourage the hard sell" Yet we then go into training and have to listen to our RRM MB talk about taking 3 "no"s and that the phantom sellup isn't unethical if you look at it as the customer getting a nicer car for a few bucks. They want us to walk both ends of the spectrum at the same time. Make money and grow your business, but at the same time, don't do any of the unethical things that the managers at your branch before you did....oh by the way...we still need you to your A goals which are based on those unethically-obtained numbers. There is no integrity in HH, no business ethics...there are simply people hanging around hoping their numbers will be good enough to get them that bump up into the next pay bracket before the region crumbles.
Here's another side note...My ARM is all up in my shit about our fleet, number, eSQI...the usual. "you suck at this, you need to do better here.." or my personal fav "...it's your paycheck" when our numbers suck. I accept that part, but what boils my blood is that I have enough shit to deal with, I don't need my ARM going into my accounts and FUCKING things up with his piss-poor attitude. Now my accounts are made because they think his head is up his ass (which they are probably right). Either way, I'm royally fucked because ERAC put a knucklehead in charge.
PS...Thanks for the coll one internal rates...those are fabulous for my IPC!!
PSS..oh and no problem....I'd love to pay for a van for them!!!
