You know how this joint works. There are people sitting in HR doing nothing else but looking for guys like you or people who might want to leave. If you are already done thats different. So I'd rather keep my name unregistered since I like my job somewhat at least and would like to keep it.

There's a difference between registering and identifying yourself. If you register on the board, you're just reserving a unique username for yourself so you can represent yourself consistently every time you post. And I think you also get advanced privileges on the board. And it doesn't require that you identify yourself to anyone.

150 people have registered on the board in the past two months; essentially none have identified themselves.

That might be true, but we all know how some people are looking for cross references and so on. So I guess you can't blame these individuals who are not identifying themselves, especially since there are some out there who are looking for the next step in their career.

i know a secret. That secret is about 6 years 6 digits, which is entirely BS. I've found out that whatever you may think upper management makes, it is entirely inflated my taking his/her best month (August) and multiplying that figure by 12. I recently was disclosed information that actually showed an AM's paycheck YTD. Yeahhhh. I figure that once you actually get to that level of management, they are so excited, and when they realize that pay is not as great as they thought, they are ok with it because everyone else thinks that they making shitloads of money. Kinda funny. . .I convinced myself the exact same thing when I was working there to other employees. Imagine how exagerated income gets when you get up to RVP's.

Disclosing identifying information could get you in trouble to some degree if you are still working for the company, or maybe a meeting. But most of the people who visit this site and post are not really happy with their job at enterprise anyway. I have seen some posts that I think are pro-enterprise or HR people trying to clean up the name of enterprise or give a different impression of most of the statements that are posted on here. It is kind of amusing. I am pretty sure just about everyone knows my user name and who I am. I have seen my name pop up a few different times by different users.

I was really amused when I was pulled to the side for having my resume on Monster. I laughed and asked my area manager at the time. Wouldn't you if you were in my shoes? He did not try to bullshit me and say this job is full of opportunity. He just let it go.

As for the income thing, when I was an MT, I would lie about what I made just to save face. I did not want to have to explain what I was doing working over 55-60 hours a week and getting under $10 an hour with a college degree. I look back and it was pretty dang sad that I was with the company so long. I did have some bennifits from Enterprise though. I am not sure if it was worth it, but they are some decent stories.
