Re: Any GP45ers out there? The secret? It is about attitude and perception. I enjoyed working at B7 for a long time. I knew what was going on. I did not make many mistakes. People saw me as a leader there, but I did not have the ultimate responsibility. Enterprise used me as much as I used them. I knew the pay was crap, the hours were crap. but I still had fun. Look at the airport as a whole, The facility is a joke, the car preps are a daily source of amusement (unless you have to deal with their schedules), The people in the office. (running around in shirts and ties stressing about whatnots. It is funny if you can step back and look at it. ( Life in general is amusing ) I admit, I was caught up in the hype for a while, GRILL GRILL GRILL, get promoted and still get crap pay with horrible hours except more responsibility with dreams of getting to an area spot sometime in the future. In my time there I can remember at least 5 area managers leaving. They cant tell you what they really think of their job. Part of how their performance is judged on retention. Is it really that great up there? As far as the girls were concerned they came to me. I was laughing, joking, having fun and working hard at the same time. Women are attracted to that, but that applies to life in general. As far as the current airport is in terms of conditions? I have no idea. Most of the people there have changed. I am not sure of the attitude of the office or who can change it. ESQI is reflectant of the attitude of the office. IF cars are missing, people are stressing out. When those certain people are stressing out, (shit rolls down hill) AM's MA's and MT's start to feel it. The secret? Don't take it too seriously laugh when you can because the whole thing is funny. |
