Truck Rental

Anyone know anything about Group 45's Truck Rental? I have heard a lot of rumors here and there (some great .. and some REALLY bad) ... fill me in.

No the only thing I know is I see more Penske trucks than Enterprise Trucks ..

Yea but they are all cheaters (especially the married ones) .. just like car rental .. nothing different. Bunch of guys who think with their dicks... I would stay away from the truck rental, If I were you ...

Growing and growing but they still suck. They lie, cheat and steal to get cars on the road. It's only a matter of time till they mess up real big.

Yeah, I know what you mean .. they are a lawsuit waiting to happen...

Is the group still predominately men? I hear the head of truck rental is a chauvinist pig. They took a girl from car sales who was stellar and they all (the truck guys) treat her like crap. From what I remember she could do way better than working for those losers.

Vista CA; Brakes failed and they claim it was my fault ....

I rented a 24' box truck in June 2002. On June 30th we had it parked at our property. It was empty and on a slight incline with the parking brake set. After about 45 minutes the brakes failed and the truck rolled backwards into my brand new barn causing $2,500.00 in damage to the barn and damage to 3 of the roll up door panels.

I filed a claim with Enterprise. They inspected the truck and found a caliper bolt missing on the rear brakes and the hand/parking brake out of adjustment thus causing the brakes to fail and roll backwards.

I spent nearly four months trying to get answers out of them. Finally, a bonehead in their claims office, Jonathon E. Leigh, informed me that my claim had been denied. He admitted that the brakes were faulty and that the hand brake was out of adjustment but claimed it was my fault because I did not physically crawl under the truck and inspect the brakes when the truck was delivered.

He also proceeded to accuse me and my driver of deliberately tampering with the brakes to cover up the accident. Last year I spent over $5,000 renting trucks from Enterprise. They've lost all of my future business and I am spreading the word on what crooks they are.

We'll see what the judge says when I take them to court.

I just heard a rumor is it true....did they fire JK. I heard he was in an accident in February .. did he trash a company truck. Check out the other blogs, they say he was ousted last week.
