| Hello All, We haven't seen much traffic from this Group, and we haven't yet created a separate forum for this Group either. So, what's going on in this group? | 4708 has turned into a nightmare. Most of the car preps were terminated because they were undocumented workers. We can't get cars clean and out to the airport in a timely manner. The car preps were understaffed before we lost everyone. The temps that were brought in are helping, but not nearly enough. I'm hoping that someday this company will give us the tools to succeed. No worries either way, I'm quitting. |

| Utahns are raised to never question authority and to obey. You're not going to see much being said on here by anyone there, except the few who were not of the majority population. I used to live there and I've never been anywhere where the people are as myopic as there. They fit well within the "drink the green koolaid" environment ERAC offers (especially since Koolaid is the favorite soft drink in Utah!) Odds are, those who do say anything are eventually discovered and counseled....or fired. But, that's my prejudice talking. |

| An undocumented worker is an employee who is not eligible to work in the US because they don't meet one of the following criteria: 1) They aren't a US citizen 2) They aren't a permanent resident (green card) 3) An alien authorized to work (work visa, etc) Most of the time they have a forged social security card that they use for their I-9. This can really mess up someone's life if the employee claims "exempt" status on their w-4 and the're using the social security number of someone else. That poor bastard gets contacted by the IRS about owed taxes from the identity theft. What happens is the department of labor sends a "no match" letter to a company with names that don't match the social security numbers on file. The company then has to correct it if its a clerical error, or fire the undocumented worker. |

| Interesting note for any any 4708 employees or alumni. Just got back from a business trip and parked my car at Park N Jet. The lot attendant told me they severed their relationship with ERAC for staging ski deals. Apparently, they got sick of ERAC staging the wrong cars or not staging cars at all. They got sick of dealing with the pissed off customers. Can't say I'm surprised, they've been putting up with this crap for a long time. |
