I just got a new one and they (I won't give away the sex) are ridiculous and I can't figure out how they even got to where they are. I was promised advancement within a few months because of my background and I get there and now I have to get powerpoints, matrix points, blah blah just to take a stupid test to get promoted?! Give me a break. I'm already searching for another job. I can't stand these hours-even though I did work more, but it seemed I had more free time. And what is with this frigging pay? $30,000 to start?!? We are in Connecticut last time I checked and I haven't seen an apartment lower than $1000 that wasn't in the ghetto. I see that most of you have stayed 2 years, but there is absolutely no way. I have an extremely expensive college education to pay back-I can't take being broke every month. Where else did you guys go? And how do I keep my sanity until I get the hell out? |
OH NO! ERAC grabbed another poor innocent person just trying to make a living! I'm glad you found this website when you did. I never knew about it but If I had I would of left sooner. I was able to stay at ERAC for 2 years because for the first year I still lived at home b/c I was just out of college. Then the second year I lived with my boyfriend (now fiance) and he paid the rent and most of the bills. My pathetic ERAC check paid for stupid stuff like gas, groceries, and little utilities like cable and stuff. I was never able to save a dime when I worked there. Since I have left ERAC I got engaged, bought a house, have a nice savings account, got my credit back on track, reconnected with friends and family, starting eating right, and taking care of myself again (I constantly had to cancel dentist and doctor appts to accomodate ERAC). ERAC really brings your whole life down the tube. After ERAC I got a job for a MA computer software co. I make a lot more money and work mon-fri 9-5 and I get to work from my home 2 days a week. To be honest with you...being at ERAC for so long did give me some experience with cust service and other things which helped me get my current job. To keep your sanity, work hard, dont let BMs and AMs push you around and just play their stupid game until you can get out. Good luck. If are looking for a new employer pls register and send me a private message. I'll send you some info on who I work for now.
