Confirmation that GP49 has and will fail

I was recently directed to this website and was told how hysterical it was and it was a must read. I must admit some of your comments about GP49 are quite amusing. After reading some of the threads it is clear that most realize a problem with GP49 and have already left or talk about leaving. What is being missed is why. The most obvious place to look to see if a group is successful or not and worth working for is at the Area Managers and history/success of them. I don't think that a single Area Manager has been promoted out of GP49 the last several years and most all of them have left the company. (or forced to leave!)
If the Area Managers are not getting promoted then there is no opportunity in the Group other than mediocre admin jobs.
Let's see how many Area Managers over the last several years are no longer with the company. I'm sure I will miss some so please add to list if you can.

Michelle Yelland, Dale Brown, Briang Young, Travis Bassi (I think he is gone?) Art Eddy, Brendan Jenkins, Paula Francisco, Brendan Kane, Kevin Simoneau, Drew Comeau, Paul Fontaine (think he is gone). I know there are even more.

The bottom line here is no area managers are getting promoted! That means MT's/BM's need not waste their time in this dead end group! Odds are you'll end up like all the rest.

One other interesting fact. The Group Manager John Wyatt was promoted to corporate a while back and he was replaced by 2 Area Managers from another group! The group was successful enough at that point to get him promoted but yet no area managers from GP49 got the nod. That's Crazy!

They hardly even promote their own Branch Managers to Area Managers, from what I understand at least Travis and Brian came from other groups.
Where's the love Fowler?

Pete Fregoso was another Area Manager that's gone.
Not to mention he was also from another group.

All these area manager's couldn't be that bad, something else seems to be
the real problem with GP49.

Is there anyone out there who thinks that Fowler is smart enough to be a GM? I have never met anyone who has thought that.

I wouldn't say that Fowler is not a smart person, he just keeps on making poor decisions, time and time again...
In my opinion, if GP49 is going to improve it will be b/c he is gone.

this shit has been going on since i quit over a year ago. good thing tina is demoted that was the best thing he ever did. all the superstars like treana, ruben, and creegan left like the plague. where is nicole she was hot, sold her ass off, i heard she dated some loser and left the company? pharmacuticals?

What you all are missing here is Jason is just like you guys but on a much grander scale, with a lot more at risk. He has had corporate on his ass for years and he is doing whatever he can to try and hang onto his overinflated paycheck as long as he can. He knows that at any moment he can get the axe and he couldn't get anyone to pay him a tenth of what he makes now.
Frankly, his skin color is the only reason he has lasted as long as he has.
He has seen GM spots in larger groups keep passing him by and go to guys that have been with the company 1/3 of the time he has been there. Corporate hasn't even given him a sniff at another GM spot in regionalized group.
Don't think for a minute he really cares about anything else other than saving his ass and his check. Just keep that in mind, he really is just like every other BM and AM that is out there getting beat up from his superiors and having pressure put on him making him feel like his job is on the line. After all, that is the ERAC way, manage by invoking fear in you!

Fowler is really just like everyone else except he gets paid a whole lot more. He has too much at stake this late in the game, he would probably sell one of his kids to keep his job, so you shouldn't be surprised by any of his actions.

It was Bill C. He used to manage a friend of mine from 4901. I think he was alright...probably wanted to get out of rental b/c of how crappy it was. He is the fat man that gave up the 'tang.
