| Had to be a BM, he had a car...unless they were doing a *really* early deal, as it was 630 AM @ Starbuck. I saw him look me up and down and think he's better than me...chuckle...me wearing a polo and some nice jeans/skechers....little does he know than I make Area manager money and will be leaving the office early today to ride the east bay bicycle path, enjoying the sunshine and warm weather while he deals with the hellish reality of a monday in the trenches. Notice the BMW, son. It's paid for. As is the $1800 bicycle on the rack. I saw you paying for that coffee with a credit card bahahaha. Life is good. |

| Having left ERAC over 4 years ago I guess I have gotten over my hatred towards the ERAC folks. But I really hate people like you that brag about what they drive, how much money they have, etc. You are no better than the ERAC chump you are putting down by behaving that way. Did you ever here the saying, "act like you've been there before" Those that have plenty of money, nice things, good job, etc. usually don't worry about others or feel they have to brag about what they have. You my friend, are either making up what you have or are nothing but "new money trash" You get a little money and you now think you are better than everyone else. Get a clue. |

he just thought those thoughts in his head...and i can completely accept that...ERAC managament is always braggin about the loot they pull down. they act like big men, but in the real corp world they are little shitty guppies. so it's nice to see someone calling them out. |

I see these type of people all the time. Everytime they get in an argument or a dispute the first thing they say is, " I drive a BMW, what to do got!" I just have to laugh at those people and there are lots in RI! The point this poster was trying to make could have been made just as easily without announcing to all us about the paid for BMW. The intention all along was to brag about what he has b/c he feels insecure for some reason. The ERAC dude had nothing to do with this guys post. If the BMW is paid for, it must be a '94. |

| Original poster is correct. No one who works at Enterprise has anything to brag about, regardless of their income. They have a brain-shrinking job that requires no integrity or values. They should be ashamed of what they do, not proud..... each and every one of them. |

| I am the OP. If you knew me, you'd know that I am exceedingly frugal in many ways, that I save and invest *aggressively*, and that my late model BMW is used and not flashy. Some other fool took the depreciation/tax/ins hits for me. The bicycle is a bit flash...I will grant you that. However, I ride the wheels off my bikes, so it's worth it to me. My original post was sort of a knee jerk reaction to him looking me up and down and acting like a hot shot. I don't think he saw the car or bike. I suppose it was a poor choice of words..but what I meant to get across is that you do not have to look like an over-shaved drone and break your back for a soulless, meaningless job/company to get ahead. If you are not L3...ask yourself what transferable skill set your time with ERAC has instilled in you. I got out early and lucked into a very lucrative technical field, where I have advanced to a position normally held by people 10-15 yrs older than me. Make no mistake, I work very hard and it is often very dry and tedious stuff...I guess I give L3+ employees the benefit of the doubt, seeing how former area mgrs seem to land on their feet. The odds of an ERAC mgt trainee new hire getting to that level are worse, statistically speaking, than an 18 year old kid ever making the big leagues if drafted out of high school. I've done the math based on turnover in a certain region and a certain time frame. Think about that. PS I'm not 'new money' trash. I might be old money trash in a few yrs if I keep my head on straight and get lucky with long term investments...but for now I live on half of what I make. |

| Unreal...the fact you have to go thru all this just lets us all know what a piece of crap you really are. I think you need to go away now and lay in your pennies. Enjoy counting them you piece of crap and let the rest of us vent. Your not good enoough to talk about ERAC and vent to those of us who want to continue what this site is about. I am the OP. How am I a piece of crap? I know you are the (only) one who has repeatedly attacked me throughout this thread. You are clearly a very bitter motherfucker. All I did was clarify that I DON'T think I'm hot shit or 'better' than anyone...except maybe for someone too stupid to leave the big green E in spite of no real and legit hope for future advancement/growth... |
