Adios Enterprise

I have heard that when you give your 2 weeks to Enterprise they immediately fire you. Is this true or do they let you work your last 2 weeks? I have never heard of a company who just fires people left and right like this, but is this the company that will make the exception?

It all depends, like many things at ERAC nothing is really set in stone and EVERYTHING is flexible. They may really need you, not because they like you, but they are short staffed. When you turn in your 2 weeks, check out a the threads on fun things to do when you leave and leave a legacy behind. Thanks man!

You migt want to also look at when you make the payment for your medical insurance. I knew a few employees that gave their 2 weeks notice and ECRAP let them go before their 2 weeks were up. Come to find out, ECRAP let them go the day before the medical deduction is taken from the employees paycheck. This makes it so ECRAP doesn't have to pay for another 2 weeks of the employees coverage. So find out what dates the medical coverage is taken from your paycheck and make sure that you give your 2 weeks on that the day or after that date. This way when they let you go early, you will still have the medical coverage, if this is of importance.

I actually gave two months. I said I was done with the company but I wanted to stay on till I went back for a grad degree. My area Manager and BM were cool guys though and let me stay on till school started.

However, one of my buddies switched regions and they told him not to come back the next day when he gave his two weeks.

Yep, there is no concrete answer. Vagueness is a way of life in the zoo known as ERAC.

I guess my other questions would be any point in retaining any references for future jobs here or are they pretty worthless? It seems like once you give your 2 weeks they may think you are an "ERAC traitor" for furthering yourself elsewhere etc.

Any current area managers or bm's worth hanging on to?
I just want to weigh my options.

The fact that I am even weighing my options when I am determined to get out proves to me just how they brain wash you. I am feeling guilty for no reason at all.

I understand how you feel. Alot of ex-echimps felt the same way but what they found out was that life is SO MUCH BETTER that first day you become ERAC-free. I know it is hard to see it now but just read through this site and you will see.

Why don't you just open up an office to counsel ERAC employees and ex-employees.
You might as well get paid for it. Shit, all you do is site on this site 24 hours a day. Do you have a job????????????
