With all of this "growth" (I call it redividing the pie), where is the regionalization they have been talking about and preparing for over the last 3-4 years?

The reason Will was brought in is simply for selfish reasons for Tobin. This was his attempt to avoid "regionalization." Now Group 50 will not be able to regionalize with RRVP in place. Will must be promoted before this can happen. Tobin is smart, I will give him that.

Why would we want to regionalize? All that will do is increase our costs and create more upper management. Our GP is designed in such a way that we will not have to regionalize untill Buckeye, Peoria, Rio Verde, and Apache Junction have bottomed out with people. That is 5-7 years away. We are in great shape. If you feel that poor performance is hurting your career, you should try looking in the mirror.
Good luck

Wow... you are new aren't ya? 50 has been trying and preparing to regionalize since 2000 when they went from two GRM's to four. The "bottom out" plan sounds like a backpedal and retreat due to lack of retention... You can't regionalize when you can't even keep your 1 admin staffed, not to mention trying to staff 4. I agree that it is costly to do so and the growing pains would be too harsh to suffer right now.

But your comment about unnecessary upper management strikes as kinda funny when my whole point was that they keep creating manager and area manager spots by (unnecessarily) dividing existing branches and areas.

I have a feeling that the one of the unregistered is a new assistant or new branch manager with an obscene amount of new promotion motivation trying to tell the other unregistered (a veteran) how to do things. Don't worry. When you have served a year or two at your branch you will open your eyes and listen to the veteran.

There is a lot of competition for this title, but most would agree with you. That whole treat every customer like your grandmother was extremely corny.

How does this kool aid drinking loser keep getting on this site. I haven't time logged his posts but they must during the hours of 10pm at 4am: when he is actually home from work.

Jeff saved my ass once in Las Vegas. I hit a parked car and the passenger door had a small dent on it. I told Wale (he was MA at the time) and he told me to just park the car in the lot the and don't tell anyone. He didnt rat me out when the damage was "discovered" the next day.
