I know of a handful of BM's that are on pace for more than 55K. These employees work hard and are doing really well. If your branch did not grow at 20%, O.P. @ $100 per car, and keep your bad debts under $10 per car along with Reserves and Uninsured losses at a low level, then that is why you are making no money. It has nothing to do with your pay plan, it has everything to do with you. Who is your Area Manager? GRM? Have you asked for help? The help is out there. Everyone wants to see you succeed. I wish you the best of luck.

have another shot of green kool-aid, dumb ass. my point was that "new school" area managers are not making $100k. you countered with a "handful" of managers that are "on pace" to make better than $55k. if you can't defend your position, just say so rather than sidestepping the issue.

commission checks are definitely not what they used to be. any managers that have been here for a number of years have probably seen their yearly gross go down year over year. just ask DC. that poor guy used to be over 06/51/10/57 but they just keep "promoting" people and splitting the area into smaller and smaller pieces for the new people coming in. 700+ cars used to be the norm now you are lucky to get half that. add that with the smaller percentage you are going to get and you are almost going to make as much as an MA.
